The first year it came out it made 20hp less than the vette. Same platform as the Thunderbird, which is a car that is modded often. FWIW, before it was retired, my Lincoln made 550whp. You can't pick up a Cayman for $18K out the door. I love my Boxster. It's a great little car. Phenomenal to drive. Expensive to service. They are finicky, and difficult to upgrade. The stereo BLOWS. My last oil change was $209. The rear window on the droptop will wear out, and the dealer will quote you $4k to replace the top. It will get you laid. It is much less of a chicks car than the haters on here think.

The XKR is only available in automatic. The plus to it is that it is on the Aston Martin platform, adn if you drive one you can feel exactly how high quality it is.

Our Pacifica has been a maintenance nightmare. I put outer tie rods on it, then the inners went bad, now the outers are bad again. The outers didn't last 14K miles (less than a year). I had Derek replace them with lifetime parts. I know they won't last forever, but he'll replace them when they fail. there are also bushings and a rack that can go bad (and will).
