There's a christmas tree at the end of the 'staging area'. The theory is you roll next to each other around 60 mph and when the starter sees the cars lined up together, he'll flip the light green. But perfect side by side starts are tricky as the 'staging area' is very short and the cars accelerate differently up to 60. It's much easier to roll race on the highway as you have much more room to pace....

You should really try. The Hot Rod / X275 is a 32 car field with about 45-50 showing up. 15k in the stands and the best organized/prepped large race in the US. A consistent X275 .4x-5x car can win....

As for trans, UGR has experimented with 3 different companies and materials over the past 24 months and the new version has tested way beyond the previous versions. It's no secret these upgraded trans have had issues. You'll find out soon enough. Good luck with Liberty.

Many of you are reading far too much into this. Only a few people know the real history and I doubt they are interested or motivated to publicly throw anyone under the bus (at least at this point). The bottom-line is this SV will never run near David's expectations, if it runs on the road at all. I admire David's passion, but Nate has sadly taken advantage of his inexperience and ignorance.

Yes, that's my 'shop' BRZ. It's a 6sp. Don got it last week, made an intake and an exhaust within 4 days. I think the intake picked up 6whp and we expect the exhaust to pick up about the same. We're going to start releasing bolt-on blower and turbo kits within a couple months, then start getting a little crazy. Look for it to be the first 9 sec BRZ later this year. Another customer has a white auto. Don is going to get pretty serious into this market (he comes from a Subaru background....)
