  1. I have a set of 6 Enkei RPM2s I am looking to sell soon.

    2 17x8s with 225/45/17 Kumho MXs

    2 17x9s with 255/40/17 Kumho MXs

    2 17x9s with 275/40/17 Nitto drag radials

All are in perfect shape, low miles, and come with the proper hub centric rings for the RX7s.

  2. hrm....could be SERIOUS trouble when you get your suspension sorted a bit better. Let me run r-comps and we'll call it a deal :D

Oh, no, not that car. I think with some tires I'll be faster in the V6 car than I was in the V8. My balls grow exponentially behind the wheel of the beater.

But a wager should be fun, we will at least do it for dinner and drinks.

  3. The one in your first link would not cut it, especially in a garage with any drafts. I would look for another Reznor, or have yours serviced, or pick up a regular residential forced air gas furnace. There are a lot of people stepping up to high efficiency furnaces in their homes and discarding there still working old units. That is where I got mine, 80,000btu heats up my 720sq.ft. garage quickly and for the cheap. If you do go with a house furnace make sure to keep the return air off the ground at least 12", maybe more check you local codes, to prevent gas fumes from entering it, and vent it to the outside with double wall flue pipe.
  4. Specify:

    -What kind of steel

    -How tight the break is

    -What you use

Well Eric, maybe you will believe me. It is done everyday and it is a standard practice.

    To answer your questions,

Almost any kind of steel except for cheap Chinese brittle crap, also stainless steel and 2 and 3 thousand series aluminum alloys.

Roughly a 1/8" diameter inside radius, depends on material and dies used.

Press brake. Bottom die opening to be 8 times material thickness, in this case 2"

  5. matt just like the record you were bea by 1hr. :)

Curses, foiled again  You haven't seen the last of me :p

Another little tidbit on the CannonBall, Brock Yates, the organizer of said race and editor of Car and Driver magazine, won the 1971 race along with co-driver Dan Gurney in a Ferrari Daytona with a time of 35 hours 54 minutes. Dan Gurney deserves most of the credit.
