  1. It's brand new. If you want the MS1 w/ extra code, I'll let it go for $260. Comes with a wiring harness. If you want the MS2 processor and harness, make it $310.

  3. Just a shot in the dark... I'm looking to sell this all as one kit so keep that in mind. This will fit any 92 - 98 DOHC SC, SL, or SW. It will also work with 99 - 02 models only if the head is/was swapped to a 92 - 98 DOHC (5-bolt) head. Borg Warner / KKK K26#8 turbo (.50/.73ar) [compressor map] Audi external wastegate (9psi) 2.5" downpipe w/ header wrap and Moroso Spiralflow muffler (v-band) 91 - 98 DOHC manifold w/ header wrap (1.5" ID schedule 40 piping) 92 - 02 transmission (your choice of MP2, MP3, or MP3 with MP2 5th) with welded differential pin Flywheel that has been freshly turned with no use Luk 6-puck sprung clutch - held (3) 17psi runs and a 22psi+ run and 9psi for over a year and a half with no slipping) Depending on the interest, I may include the IC piping, intercooler, and blow-off valve. With the intercooler and piping included, I'm looking to get $1000. I made 262whp with this kit at 5300 before the boost fell off back to 12psi. The turbo is solid and isn't even close to being out of its range. For a high-boost setup, the BOV will need to be modified to hold more pressure. It's a DSM blow-off valve and with modification, it's capable of holding well over 25psi. If you need pictures of anything more detailed, let me know. It's a very solid setup and has done me well. While it isn't a pretty stainless steel setup, its functionality is great. The piping isn't thin so it isn't going to break. The welds are solid. The only downfall I foresee is using this for a low boost setup such as 5psi. The turbine is large and it's capable of making a good amount of power so low boost will be out of the efficiency range. Also, I have a MegaSquirt with 42 lb/hr injectors. This can go with the kit or separately. I'm willing to meet up to deliver the setup or ship it out. Shipping will be cheap so don't worry about the price. For pictures, click here.
  4. Damnit. I didn't feel like searching. lol I should have known it was going to be on here before on the site I saw it on.

  6. Are you kidding me!?! You have the money to buy a nice car, but are too cheap to upgrade the bulb fluid?
  7. Ehh, I suppose those will do. I would have recommended this though. http://kalecoauto.com/images/OPipeS.jpg
  8. And I'll use those head bolts I bought at Sears too.
  9. S92264 is the part number. I'm thinking about going with a Felpro gasket and copper spray. A few people have ran 25psi+ on that setup without issues.
  10. I am in dire need of a headgasket. I ordered the ICS Titan gasket from Jegs and it's been 3 weeks and there is no telling when or if I'll get it. Is there anyone else around here that is a dealer that would be able to get me something?
  11. Thanks for the comments, guys. I really appreciate it. You have no idea how long it took me.
  12. Here is a short unedited video of my last pull. This was in 3rd gear on an MP2 (1.207:1). Video: http://www.tsnhosting.net/tristanlee85/dyno/17psi_pull-262whp-272wtq.mpeg (11.6MB) All the other videos weren't worth much. I hit the boost limiter in 4 of the 7 pulls.
  13. I don't mind. There was good reading in between.
  14. I know man. I'm sorry. Though we had planned in advance to go on Sunday, it was like a spur of the moment thing to get there due to my friend having car problems.
  15. All my piping is steal so I welded beads around them to keep it from blowing off. The compressor has a very thin lip on it and that's where it's slipping off. I don't have any way to weld aluminum though. We used brake cleaner to clean out the coupler and compressor and then sprayed some VHT glue on it. I think Brian is going to sell it for $40 a can as "Intercooler Piping Glue."
  16. Currently I have a brass temperature sensor, not an open element one so the temperatures aren't accurate under boost. It's actually really bad because on the dyno I was only seeing temperatures of ~70* F at my highest point which definitely isn't right. Honestly I didn't have much time to tune it out as precise as I wanted it. I spent a greater portion of my time trying to fix the IC pipe. It kept blowing off on the first 4 pulls. This thing has been street-tuned for probably 7 months now so I didn't adjust anything on the dyno except a little more advance and a little more fuel. After all, these are stock pistons. I couldn't get too crazy.
  17. Off the top of my head I don't remember what it was where you guys are talking about, but 165kpa and up is 25* @ ~4000 to 28* @ 6000.
  18. Properly tuned and I believe it. I didn't know this guy personally. Only enough to know what was done and that's all that was mentioned. My friend's car (not the one I dyno'd with) made 276whp. Granted he can drive 100% better than me and has slicks, and gutted a bit, ran 11.809 @ 116.488mph. Though there is no way could I compete with that, at 2410lbs, I wouldn't be that bad. Not trying to start a BS flag-throwing contest. Just stating the facts I know and my theories.
  19. How does your car compare to a softly modded STI? I went up against one not too long ago. All he had was an aftermarket turbo manifold. Though he definitely got me off the line, I was ahead of him in the end. Is yours an STI? I don't know anything about cars other than mine.
  20. Now if I didn't have a crappy MBC, the results would have been a little better.
  21. I had great pleasure today working with Brian and the crew at Dyno Tune Motorsports. There really isn't much to say other than I hit my goal of 250whp and I don't think I need to be going any higher if I want to keep this engine together. Here are some specs on the car: Stock 97 DOHC engine (9.5:1) Custom log manifold KKK K26 turbo (~.50ar/.73ar) 2" IC piping 2.5" open downpipe MegaSquirt controlling fuel and spark 42lb/hr injectors Walbro 225lph fuel pump 94 octane pump gas I think that's about it. I don't know what else is important. http://www.allash.com/Dyno.jpg Video: http://www.tsnhosting.net/tristanlee85/dyno/17psi_pull-262whp-272wtq.mpeg (11.6MB) 3rd gear pull (1.207:1 ratio) Thank you again Brian and the rest of your crew. You've definitely got my future business!
  22. I'll post back later tonight after I talk to him on the phone.
