  1. This engine also has 50 - 100 miles on it (not accurate because my speedometer didn't work for a few drives). Should I give it a few hundred more miles before tearing into the engine? I don't expect the 145psi cylinder to jump up to 180psi, but maybe there is a chance it could increase a little. 170psi doesn't worry me. I'm just worried about consistency.
  2. Or maybe I'll just run 25psi instead of 20. That should compensate for the low compression.
  3. Well too much work to do for tonight. I hope it isn't the rings. Thanks for the info.
  4. I'll give that a shot. I didn't get a valve job on the head, but I used lapping compound to try and create a nice mating surface between the valves and the head.
  5. 7psi doesn't quite feel like 7psi probably because my compression is 145 - 170 - 163 - 178. How could I determine whether it's rings or valves? I am assuming a leakdown test would tell me if my rings are bad, yes? What about valves?
  6. Yes it does, but back when I first starting using the MS, I re-wrote the code for the AFR tables to use AFR values instead of voltage or lambda because it wasn't supported with the AEM 30-42XX at the time though I know the MS2 is.
  7. The main reason I am converting it to AFR is because my tuning software reads my datalogs, compares it to my AFR table I have defined, and add/removes fuel at specific RPM/MAP values to match what I am shooting for. After 1/2 hr of driving, I just need to fine-tune it.
  8. Yeh really. Even for $300+ for a part that I really don't need, I may look for 2000+ cars at Pick n Pull for now. There was a guy on eBay setting the discontinued GM sender for $50 plus shipping brand new, but since I plan on running just E85, the flex sender won't do me much use right now.
  9. Well I have my wideband to output lambda instead of AFR and then I calculated a table for gasoline AFR vs ethanol AFR so instead of a gasoline AFR of 14.7:1 being 9.8:1 ethanol, I converted the ethanol AFR to be the same as gasoline so it'll be easier on the mind to tune... even though I'm sure that was confusing.
  10. You can usually get them for that price off eBay. I don't know what the cars come with stock, but I got an all-aluminum one for my car for cheap.
  11. I know that. It's like a 70 ethenol / 30 gasoline mix isn't it? I mean, it isn't required for me to do, but since my standalone supports it...
  12. That's the plan for the summer, but my winter plan may be different.
  13. The 2 numbers I have are 12570260 or 12568450. The second number, I believe, has been discontinued by GM.
  14. I highly doubt anyone has this, but here's the shot. Dealership wants a testicle for this thing. Maybe someone on here has a totaled car that they plan on getting rid of soon. I don't know. 15. I have a SV650S in my garage. I'll sell it for $1000.
  16. It's late now, but I got the hood on, exhaust done, lowered, semi-tuned, and the oil leaked fixed.
  17. I've been out of the loop for a while now. Is anything going on tonight? What's the awesome hip-hop place to hang out at now?
  18. Back from the dead. The car is now running and drivable. My coilovers I have now can be adjusted in ride height by either the damper or the spring perch. If I get this aligned now and decide to drop it lower later (without adjusting the camber bolts) will my alignment be off? Every time I go around a turn the tires squeal. This thread was so long ago I have no idea if some of you work at these shops anymore, but I'm looking for a place close to Fishinger Rd. off 270. That's where my work is located and I'd like to do this on a lunch break.
  19. 3 of 18. I guessed on everything. I only know L24, LK0, and LL0.
