Anyone here does custom brackets for seat rails or modify existing to fit? My 1987 acura integra could use new seats. I picked up some nice seats from a 2001 prelude. I was thinking swap rails and im good. Not quite. One side may fit by drilling two holes, but other side the rail is attached to side bracket as one piece. If anyone can do this mod, let me know. Or im going back to seat covers. Thanks in advance. D

If that doesn't work out, nashbar has some good starter bikes and will probably beat anything out there in it's price range (new that is). They have 15% to 20% off all the time, maybe once a month or every other month. You have to put them together but seems easy enough. I'm still looking into some of the mountain bikes that they have. But if you can get into a nice used one, that's a good route to go. Good luck. And congrats on getting into riding, i keep saying i'm going to do it and have yet to do so. Darn kids, but i can't keep using them as excuses..haha. -D

well..if being too clean was a flaw, tell him you can dirty it up a little if he wants to buy. i guess you hear just about any excuse out there anymore. i'm sure it will find a good home though. -D

My vote goes for metallic gray/gunmetal gray. I think the yellow calipers will pop regarless of what color wheels you go with (except yellow). -D

Honestly, i was going to put one can in there. If it doesn't work (as in leaks) i probably hold off on doing anything to it as it's going to cost too much. This is the cheapest option for now. thanks for the suggestion though, i hear what you are saying...but getting it testing out will cost me alot more then just putting in a can. -D

Ok..looks like i may have tracked down a can of R12....anyone here have the recharge hose i can use just to try and fill it up? Before i go order one off ebay. thanks! -D

Anyone here can charge old R12 freon? If not, anyone can convert this over to R134a? Mine is blowing cool, not cold. Was thinking maybe charge it up once and see how it does. If not, maybe converting. I know some of these older hondas/acuras once converted, compressor fails soon after. So would like to avoid that if i can. thanks, oh..this is for a 1987 Acura Integra. -D

I didn't break it down for you. But shipping from CA to OH was $800. I signed up at uship.com. I don't recomend doing this unless you have a temp phone number to use. I've gotten so much calls from unknown numbers since i did this with them asking for someone that i don't know or just hanging up after you pick up. Got at least 20 shipping companies either emailed or voicemail. But price range went over $1k at some places. Cheapest was $775, but reviews weren't the greatest. These guys just handles the front end, they sub contract to whatever shippers available at the time. So it's not always the same shipper even if you use the same company. -D

Hello hello, Ok so here's the scoop. I bought a car, has a JVC deck in it, has the manual, but no faceplate. The manual has the following models on it: KD-A645 KD-R640 KD-R540 KD-R440 So if you have one that you are not using, let me know. Or even if you have one that you are using, i wouldn't mind trying it to see if it works before i pull it. Maybe i can find a cheap faceplate and get radio working without much effort.
