Have you searched the craigslist ads in the areas your looking? You can always get online and check the cities your interested in's newspapers for classifieds. Maybe contact a few of the temp agencies in those areas and see if they know of anything temp to hire or straight to hire.

Sounds like you already understand this is temporary, but heres the method I have used in the past. Scrub the tiles clean, dry and then clean again with TSP(being careful around glass because it etches glass), then degloss tiles with a very fine aluminum oxide paper, then use xim primer(probably the best primer there is), then apply either a high gloss(quality paint) or epoxy paint if theres high humidity. Sounds like it may be easier to just retile.

I do know from experience there is an enterprise in dayton that offers rental trucks with hitches. Most of the major companies that actually have them only offer them to corporate accounts.

You will be hard pressed to find a rental company which has trucks with hitches. Your best bet would be to contact uhaul, budget or penske. The last 2 may but uhaul certainly has some sort of box truck or something.
