Anytime you deal with wood you first must ask yourself what you want the overall appearance quality to look like. You can make almost anything with cheaper less quality wood and for the most part as long as the process to create the piece is reletively the same, it will turn out. However the issue comes up that the overall intended look will be compromised with lesser wood due to their cut from less quality wood and their ability to accept certain finishes such as stains. I ndo alot of woodworking and almost always use cheap wood. I smooth everything with bondo and paint solid colors or soloid color stains to hide the woods quality. Anything I plan on using a transparant or semi-transparant stain on, I go with better quality wood(menards has a good selection) and always use wood condition prior to applying the stain.
Built a few years back for my son. He is growing out of skating now so we really dont need it. Looking to get $600 for it. It comes apart in 6 pieces. Its 8' wide and I would say around 24' long. Its still in good shape but could probably use some new wood on the skate surface. I did not use skatelight or anything when I bulit it just sanded plywood. I can help load and take apart. A trailer can be moved fairly close to it for hauling. I will get pics for anyone whos interested.
What time are you guys going? I cleaned the filter. It was 1/2 clogged maybe but it was doing the same surging yours was. I dont know why it is now starting all of a sudden. Last time out I had problems getting it started in the drive and finally it did. Went out on the water and it bogged down so I went to a cove and swam. Went to restart and it wouldnt. Got towed back and it has sat until today(few weeks later). Go out to see if I can find that filter you mention and I turn it over for the hell of it to see if it will start and it fires right up. I clean the filter and here I sit ready to test it again on the water. I cant tell if its still broke because its starting just fine now. I know it could use a tune-up and I believe that ignition sensor but for now its running. Who knows once its on the water what it will do. It may stay bogging down, or it may not restart like before.
Also the belts squell like hell. I dont know if dressing will fix that or not.
I wonder if I can make it there on expired trailer tags.
I want to get the boat back on the water and keep trying to diagnose this damn thing. Last resort will be to take it to a mechanic, but I want to see if I can get it first. Last time out I broke down and finally a guy came to tow me back. I want to be sure theres someone I know out there who can help me should shit hit the fan again. If someone is going to alum or (yuck) buckeye soon let me know. Thanks I may just wait until wednesday instead of this weekend so I dont get stuck trying to get a disabled boat loaded again in rush hr.
Found the filter. It was probably 1/2 clogged or not quite 1/2. I was truley surprised when I went to start it and it fired on the first try(this was before the filter was cleaned). Sam what exactly was yours doing that cleaning the filter fixed? When are you guys going out next? I would like to take mine out but want someone else there who can pull me back in case I break down again while I try to diagnose this damn thing.
Take it to the dealership and tell them to rotate again or inspect the brakes. When they tell you its stripped, tell them their the ones who took it off last.
I didnt think the car looked all that bad. A bit ricerific with the decals, but a solid color and the body kit would have still worked. Car still looks good though.
Dont you search craigslist? It was posted for weeks. Although the guy would only leave the ad up for short periods. Heres more pics.

Ps. if it has the thunderbolt ignition system, let me borrow your ignition sensor to see if it fixes my problem.
Just for donating blood. I would make an appointment fast because I hear they go quickly.

Its not how jason feels either. The statement was more to make a point. I say let people discuss what ever they want, be it street racing or whatever, and let the chips fall where they may. Phil, get a life.
