I have heard the same thing. When theres clearly as well a documented case as these trans, having problems, they all should have been recalled. Whats the method for replacing or cleaning the egr valve?

I would have bought one years ago if I had some place to store it. There have been people offer to store it but they are either too far away or I know they will mess it up. I would let people use it free but then again everyone thinks they can tow a car. Uhuals are usually pretty good at having what you reserve as long as its actually a uhaul store and not just someone who rents uhauls.

Did you crack the lines (or open any lines) on the calipers when you were putting on new pads or just push the cylinders back in? Doesnt make sense for it to go out at the exact same time you were working on it. I assume it wasnt doing that before?

Dealer quoted me $5k, even with a percentage coverage, it wont be close to an aftermarket rebuilder, or reman.

Can you convince the dealership to replace it under the extended campaign? Its way past the 7 year 100,000 mile extended warranty, but I have heard of dealerships being able to get it done. Thought I'd ask:p

I have an appointment with a guiy tomorrow to see what he says. Prices seem fair, but only 1 year warranty. I found a place that does longer warranties, but of course more money. Options are rebuilt for $1400-$1900 1 year warranty Reman for $2400 with 3 year warranty Ebay reman, I do work for around $1400

IIRC any work which is within a certain distance of a roadway requires workers to wear a certain colored garment. Ours were a really bright yellowish green.

I just towed this 13hrs into canada last year and pulled nice. Some of the vinyl has been replaced over the years. Has cd player. In the pics of the rear seats the seats are multi-colored but they have been changed by a previous owner, The small sunpad is solid white, the engine cover is solid white, the seat backs are solid maroon and the seat cushions are maroon and white. The good: *(1) brand new battery *newer cover (last year) *Winter tarp(just regular tarp) *Full enclosure for window back *bimini top(older but still works) *brand new tires *trailer has new lights and wires *Trailer has buddy bearings Bad: *Had what I believe is a sensor out, sale price is assuming I get it checked out and fixed prior to selling.(just been too lazy) *The fuel tank(in floor) pops when you walk on it, not sure why it has done it since I owned it. *Previous owner did some rigging under the back seats. kind of looks jakey, but the seats sit just fine. Some wood is rotting under rear seat where the boat was tilted up for water to drain but was left to puddle. I had it checked out when I bought it and it was only cosmetic. *The back/back seats were stolen and replaced with generic back/back seats. *Could use some TLC from lack of use I will get it cleaned up and aired out this week and then it will be available to be seen. Asking $3500OBO, willing to negotiate. The pics are from when the boat was brand new. I will get some new pics once its all cleaned up. Some of those boats look like a waste on that lake.
