The last cr track day I actually took part in, racing, I got some money from a few people and paid to have the track resprayed and it hooked just fine. Actually cut one of my best 60's there that day with the vette. Just saying if you are so upset about the track rentals, then pay to have it resprayed.

You're doing it wrong, buddy. I'm surprised nobody has offered real advice yet. You have 4 options to solve your issue in a timely manner.
1. Drill that sucker out, keep using bigger bits until the holes line up then tap it and thread in your new bolt
2. Grab a smaller bolt that fits in the offset holes, filling the rest of the open space with jb weld
3. HAMMER.
4. Weld it shut.

I have never used them personally so I don't know if they leak. Mine is a disc so I am just rolling with that. 8.8 28 spline puts up with a fair amount a abuse so 31's in a light car should be fine but other will chime in I am sure

I would just use the stock axles maybe buy some c-clip eliminators, the car is so light I doubt it needs more than that. (Mine weighs more and has that setup )
