Man that's awesome!!!! I tell you what's cool... guys that would pick on you and try to pick fights with you before, won't even look your way now.. and if they do, they're all friendly and trying to kiss your ass. It always amazed me. I truly wasn't that different after I got back from boot camp... but just that status of being a "Marine" made everyone I knew alittle more nicer and respectfull. I would walk down the middle of the local mall with my red satin jacket and high n tight haircut and people would part like the Red Sea.... like I said... the best 4 years of my life. Good Luck

Did 1 yr at New River, then got lucky and did my remaining tour at HMX-1 Presidential Helicopter Squadron at Quantico Va. (The best 4 years of my life!!!!) I'm now 32 and I can say that joining the Marines was the best thing I ever did. I've got a great job and great experiences all because of the Corp. You're %100 right about boot camp... all mental. We once at 3:00am got dressed online 36 times cause when they said FREEZE.. some idiots kept moving!! We would take everything back off and start over again... yep 36 times!!! I remember when I got back home.. I felt that I could kick anybodys ass who looked at me the wrong way.. and back then I could. Just don't go starting anything.. but if someone starts shit, just think back to Leather Neck Square and unleash the fury!!! Semper Fi Devil Dog!!! Oooo Rah!!!

That was the JV team today that beat a hungry Buffalo playoff bound team!!! Huh.. even our 3rd stringers kick ass!!!! But.......... It will all be for not if they don't go all the way this year. Me.. I got a new set of golf clubs, shop vac, some tools, a new Columbus GTO Association jacket, permission to buy a Pypes performance X pipe exhaust system for the GTO when Spring time rolls around. I also got a 300 gift card from my mom from Sears.. but had to spend it on a damn battery backup sump pump and charger because of the damn weather!!! Oh well.. at least I had it to use. Next.......
