  3. I'll be goin to this on Sunday. But not in the "appropriate" vehicle (meaning the 200sx beater will be going). Hopefully Moran will show up with his 5 second mobile. As for Randy's AMX, I liked his gold one better but I think he sold it
  4. And.....I just pooped my pants graemlins/leghump.gif Always have liked those, and after some of the drawings done in last months Hot Rod (one with Courtney Hanson on cover) of the older TA's, it made me want one.
  5. BUT....this year they are allowing turbos in Pro-Mods. 'In other news: this is the last year for turbo's in Pro-Mod because there is no competition for them.' smile.gif
  6. Did you just say meow? I could've sworn you said meow smile.gif

  8. I like the "flywheel side" tag. Do they think Mustang owners are retarded? smile.gif I'm down to help on Sunday, I can't Sat. PM me when you know what's up.
  9. Call around to any REAL chassis shop and you'll have 20K in that chassis easy. That guy is adding alot of extras, it's not a bad price IMO.
  10. This was done to All the Nissan Spec-V models as well...
  11. Ben, as with any Porsche your talking $$ for the upkeep. But you'll have a nice car. If I were you I'd look for like a mid 80's 928. Yep a 928. Silky V8 that screams up top. Great shaped body for high speeds. Alot of the parts are inter-chageable with other 928's and a few others. I looked into mid 80's Porsches heavily before I went with a 240 awhile back. For the money a 928 is hard to beat (Porsche wise). I drove the exact car your talking about along with a 951 and the 928. Out of those 3 the 928 was much faster and handled much better IMO. And some of the 85-86 928's came with a certain set of front seats that I will put up against ANY aftermarket seat out there...ANY! Most comfortable and supportive seat I've ever sat in. Taking a corner doing 60 felt no different than doing it at 20, and so nice you could sleep in as well. But anyway good luck in your search smile.gif
  12. Yo vid = no good linky
  13. There have been numerous threads about how long it took them to get an engine that's "in stock". When someone has recieved an engine and it has low compression the response is "it had good compression when it left here". Basically telling them that's BS and there's nothing they'll do about it. Alot of people have complained about the customer service. Or they will leave parts off the engine set and tell people "oh if you want that it's extra". It's just gotten worse and worse from the credible stories I've heard.

OR.....people have had the V8 experience and decided to go another route. In the end (if the car is done right) it's all expesive, 8cyl, 6cyl, 4cyl it doesn't matter. In a way you are right with the "hey look what I can do" statement. Being that these imports with 4cyl are deep into the 6's. In like what maybe 15 good years? While the V8's are in the 4's BUT have been doing it for 50 good years and 4 more cylinders to boot. Good = some technology to help out. So yeah, you don't have much of a choice BUT to look when they are saying "hey look what I can do!" tongue.gif
  15. Nice vids and good music. Wingless Supra's look better imo.
  16. If you buy one, don't get it from Zerolift.

That car CAN hook up if it has: a: good axles b: good slicks c: good chassis work (this can be done and still be a streetable car) d: and he can drive the car It's not like the car is making all of it's power at once, which will aid in hooking it up.

So what your saying is you'll race him? Not worthless if he gets it to hook up. Just like any other 800hp Supra running 13's.
