Actually, my 980x runs at 4.8 using a Corair H50 cooler. It's pretty sexy.

1.5v vcore on a homemade watercooling setup, all of the people i see with the high dollar wc rigs make me laff, me and my brother made one for about 60$ comprised of a cheap pump a 79 bonneville heatercore with ac and some pet store tubing. It's not really hard...

No ATI? Haters gunna hate. I'm about to crossfire my 4870 since its sippin behind a bit on fallout new vegas. And you absolutely do not need a 650watt power supply for a mid range card. I have a Q6600 system with 4x hard drives in raid, my 4870 as I've said above (HEAVILY overclocked btw) and a 500watt powersupply. Never had a problem. I need to replace it with something in the 700 range for crossfire though

 

 

 

Every intel HSF has thermal paste pre applied to it. Its not the greatest stuff but anything C2D and newer runs cool enough that it doesn't matter.

While your dinosaur of a machine chugs along my i7 920 at 4.7ghz with hyperthreading on laughs at you. Any kind of video card thats a NEWER style WILL require a 550w and/or SLI cert'd PSU. Just becuz your DINO runs with the 500w psu from the 1980's doesn't mean new tech will.

Shouldn't matter, just put a 5.3L in mine and all we had to do was drill and tap holes, but we didn't figure out til after the block was in Block out only take 10mins tops.

Edit: The only holes it wno't have Anthony are the holes for the A/C bracket.

They just keep falling out hasn't done it in a while though.

Make sure your twisting gem in the correct way, popped a couple of replacements til I found out they may go in a few ways only one way seals right, great gm parts IMO

LS1 Tech, also if your harness is melted Autozone sells the cheap sockets. And +1 on drilling a small hole in the lens i still use my DRL and havent had any issues since getting new lenses and drilling with DRLs on ALL the time.

People please quit talking about handling with this car, I was in front of a boxter S on Road America and he couldn't pass me. And once I got to the back straight before Canada Corner I pulled away and never saw him again until after we were done. This isn't even an S. That S was a bunch more money than my STI back then, and my car only had an OTS map from Cobb, all stock exhaust. He came up to me afterward and said he was amazed at my car, he had no idea and asked how much I paid for my car and he walked away. He may have sold the thing, he was pretty bummed. Those cars are for women driving to get their hair and nail done with the top down.

 

But as everyone else said, if you like it, that's all that matters. BTW, most cops like cars, I bet most of your cop buddy's laugh behind you back about that chick car. At least I am honest to you on here. I am more than sure others are thinking the same as I do as I have read many post about people picking up one of these and they are told "don't drive a chick car".
