  1. 2.0 Jetta?, Maxima? Accord? All of America's four doors drink to much gas. B.T.W., is this Matt Stacks?
  2. stay away from the early GTPs, the 3.4 DOHC had many problems. very costly to fix. The 3.8 S/C is a reliable motor, they do not require 93 all the time, just when you beat on it. You can run 89 safely on highway and around town.
  3. max n ermas on e. broad?
  4. youll help any guy out any way you can....wont you? homo. tongue.gif
  5. w00t, hit me up, I'll show you how I put to much money into a car to go slow..I mean..to go fast
  6. Noiice... Ignore that Ford Guy, he doesn't know what its like to drive a fwd car tongue.gif great times, your trap speed will drop with DRs or slicks. I would go DRs, they slip enough to not tear a half shaft apart, and you can drive to the track with them on and such. Look forward to seeing 12s!
  7. The car was designed for two things...low cost, high speed. The first time I took one out I was disgusted with the interior, but couldn't believe that a neon could move like that. the RSX and MSP are much more refined cars, designed for handling, reliability, and tuned for all around good performance. I have a real good fried with an 04 that does auto cross on a regular basis, as well as 1/4 mile racing. The spring rates are just to soft in the front, after changing to some aftermarket springs, he ran street prepared and beat a whole bunch of cars, including a very well designed SER, both ran the same type tire...yet the next week hes running high 12s on 500$ worth of modifications.. Not saying the car is the best thing ever, but for the money, it really does seem to be an icon of domestic ( I guess?) performance. P.S. I use the term nimble relative to my car...I drive a boat...sorry
  8. No lag, No fun smile.gif The SRT is very nimble in the corners, If the driver can manage the pedal and control the power delivery in the corners, they fly around tracks. Granted its no MSP or RSX, but for what it is, It can hold its own. The inefficency of the roots blower would give you a heat attack....I dont care what your using it for, it creates torque in such a small range, the torque curve is depressing. Id gladly retard timing like crazy down low to get the turbo spooled. wrc style. bia bia.
  9. I know what your 03 can do, fruitcake Honostly, from what it looks like, your making a tad more power than Sam to be able to pull a car on him like that, and keep it (RC Episode 6) Without a KB or autorotor, and on stock(maybe wrong) m112, with such a small pulley, you have to be doing WI or some funny gas. Just a guess smile.gif
  10. Interesting...GM is finally strapping forced induction into their 4V motors... Funny thing is, they can make a 2.2 Ecotec run 9s using production (some) components with turbos...but yet they traditionally produce a car with an outdated blower, traditional GM. Accountants still have control over their cars. Judging by the description....if they didn't intercool this version...that 205 is going to jump with a pulley swap and other bolt-ons, just like it does on the m90 blown motors. But 12 psi seems quite much for no intercooler? Anyone have anymore information on it? These motors may become a building block for GM's sport compact market. Who knows, Seems like they did their homework and did allot better designing the motor to withstand all that hot air. Sorry Ricochet, you may be hearing a whine and see that retarded contraption more times than you will want to On a side thought, the SRT4 is still the best bang for the buck, in the I dont have allot of money but I want one that can go really fast catagory.
  11. Nioooce, When's the pulley and bypass mod coming, eh?? Maybe some nitrous? eh?

  14. Do you want to launch on street tires?? STI or EVO Do you want to have a noticeable whine and incredible power once in motion? 03 / 04? Good example (not picking on anyone) Andy's EVo vs Sam's Vette.... Both make alot of power (~500ish I think)... One gets it to the ground a tad better... One traps insanley high... Oh, and I vote EVO or STI just because its a 4 door smile.gif
  15. Well...Heres whats up... I've been watching the car for quite some time now. I have it tuned in so that my Long term fuel trims are pretty close to zero at idle, at cruise and a tad lean in part throttle. I'm having a problem with the car wanting to dump alot of fuel in the car after say, I drive it and come to a stop. My numbers go from .8% to -18%. They do it in seconds...its creepy. I've been watching the fuel trims at idle, and two things are strange.. When the cars A/C the trims are alot better, not near zero but in the + or - 5%, also, when I pump the brakes, the LTFTs start to drop towards zero? Im confused. Heres some eye candy, cause I'm a pimp with Excel. wooooooo http://s90925223.onlinehome.us/nate/images/gtp/rich_idle.JPG
