  1. Just something to consider: Cylinder Pressure. The higher it is, the more power you make. How complicated you make that is up to you. When you start adding different forms, you need to be cognoscente of the plan to control everything so things don't go south quickly - and if they do - how to limit the blast radius.
  2. or fire from a concealed hide suppressed with subsonic loads :gabe:
  3. Tim, I know a guy.... http://www.state.gov/img/11/44902/INSURGENTSIRAQFIRING_300_1.jpg
  4. Keep in mind 11:1 is the static, when you factor the real world valve openings and overlap periods, it comes out on the lower side.
  5. Fuel Depot in Delaware, but I'm fairly sure they had only leaded.
  6. For all the DIY'ers out there - MegaSquirt 3 Pro, http://www.ms3pro.com/ Lots of surface mount goodies and tyco/amp automotive connectors. If any of you follow Greg Banish's Eco Boost Cobra, seems to be pretty stable.
  7. I am the fail at the Googles, as I ended up on some random pages that cited article 800 from a dated copy of the NEC. When I spoke to Joe Holebrah (Delaware County) he stated anything lower than 50V is not inspected per state and he mainly inspects the cold air returns to verify no cable is run. Plans for work: Running Cat6 to all the rooms, putting a small wall mount cabinet for a POP, running the Coax connections, HDMI in-wall - that stuff. Now it's just dealing with Time Warner, ugh.
  8. I was referred to a few articles in the NEC to start out with and had made an appointment to meet with the electrical inspector - just trying to see if there is anything modern being tought to installers/techs as the NEC is somewhat dated.
  9. Looking for a direction on finding local code for running low voltage (Ethernet/cat tv/quad wire phone, etc) cabling in a residential application as electricians seem to shy away from it. Thanks!
  10. Does it have a "get the f out of here" mode for when you're pulled over doing a 40 roll?
  11. If there's any seriousness to this post: You'll need to work with some supporting elements when using any alcohol based fuel (eth, meth). Depending on the amount you mix, you'll need to think injector and pump. A 'tune' wouldn't be optional.
  12. Packet Pushers, Precision Rifle, Hardcore History. While not technically, "a podcast", I like NPR's Story Corp and TED talks.
  13. Looking good! Do these guys share any of the problems that the GTO had?
  14. JP reminds me of all the good things to come from Cleveland, like Bernie Kosar. Looking good mang, will be rooting for you.
  15. http://www.tormach.com/ I've been eyeing their smaller model, the 770. For the price, they look to offer a decent amount of features. What say you?
  16. There was a saying in OCS... "You'll have the types of folks along side you that would go to medical for shin splints, and those who go wrapped in tourniquets, IV Bags, and makeshit bandages." I never got "runner's high" but one thing I always keep in mind, one foot in front of the other.
  17. As disheartening as this sounds, it is very true. I had to end my engagement because of it.
  18. Looking good Joe. The trunk lid swap thing seems to be a common practice as I've seen people do it....in the parking lot.
  19. Keep in mind there is slight latency in the feedback the O2 sensor is generating on throttle transitions. You're also fighting a generic control strategy, in GM world, called Deceleration Fuel Cut Off (DFCO). On one control system, I had to use an inductive clamp/breakout harness to monitor at the physical injector as logs show calculated IPW wasn't 0 as expected during this mode of operation.
  20. I don't have any experience with it and not really common in the mid-west high power circles. From first glance I can say two things; it's expensive if you don't reload and it has pretty good BC's on paper. I would say box 750gr AMAX 50 would serve you better. Most of the guys average 1-2ish groups @ 100yds on M33/API from bolt 50s.
