  1. Rock On Tristan, very clean. BTW - David & Phil are correct. I realized I've only modeled with the room that's available to my application (4" or so). I revise my comment to FI motors are less sensitive to wave tuning, but not omitted from their affects on performance.

GSP - love him, even though he's french. Very mature and professional fighter, not to mention an amazing athlete (his sprawls are amazing!!)
  3. Does your fiance know about us??? I hope she didnt find the pair of socks I left in the bedroom!!
  4. Brian -- think he was being sarcastic:
  5. What is with you today??? I think there was an intention of sarcasm and you're taking it out of context -- like whenever people say "SILENCE, I KILL YOU" when I'm posting in a thread?
  6. Hey Ben -- When's the last time you've been overseas getting shot at and avoiding becoming IED fodder? Give the guy some slack, jesus man.
  7. Stay safe over there brother.
  8. I would check the make/model's online forum if such thing is available. Like for a BMW, say an M car, there may be some on http://www.bimmerforums.com
  9. It would be nice to know what we are comparing...10in vs 20, 10 vs 30..etc. For a torque peak of 3100 that is some serious length.... I don't look at something without knowing the whole story, were both tunes optimized? Were both in STP/SAE corrected? Were the runners designed in a fashion that the delta P between them were consistant (maybe there were packaging reasons?) There's alot of variables in these tests -- as you very well know.
  10. P.S. BEST TIRE CALCULATOR EVER!! http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
  11. You aint kidding borther!! On my way to and from Purdue they have task forces (8-10 cruisers) hidding behind the splits and 2-3 cars clocking during move in weeks. Indiana cops are down right stealthy.
  12. For the F/I guys: http://www.squirrelpf.com/turbocalc/index.php Pay attention to the BSFC value.
  13. The boost calculator is ASSuming 100% efficient system. 1bhp, 14.7 psiG (1 bar) = 2hp Sadly, that's a floating number.
  14. Phil you homo!!! You give me this test and no information!!! That's like calling me to tell me you just had sex with Eva Mendes and gave no details!!!
  15. Atleast I've never had to replace my dash IP. The S4 has a BMEP of 16.27 BAR, quite good, but that puts it inbetween a cobalt SS (17 BAR) and a Mustang Cobra (2003) @ 14.3 BAR. For comparison, the Evo IX roughly has 24.6 BAR... The S52 has 13.75 BAR, which puts it above the F430 (13.56), the 07 Z06 (11.57), and the Viper 8.3L (10.99) If you cant appreciate the performance of the M motors...you are straight up ignorant.
  16. Do you realize the S50/52/54 engines have one of the highest BMEP ratings of naturally aspirated performance engines out there -- only to be rivaled by forced induction platforms?? When BMW gives you an engine already pulling nearly 100HP per litre -- there isnt much you can do!! The M motors are stout, feed them the right octane and you'll have no problem making 400-500-600-700whp. Hell, E46 M cars are making in the 600's-700's through factory long blocks.
  17. Brian - Did you leave the PE enable delay on? or is that the catalyst just saturating?
  18. He's rolling 3800 Series II (which you can grab a long block for 600-800$) I'm rolling the 4.3
  19. Damn close (I can't take a picture of myself very well) http://img292.imageshack.us/img292/4791/s40200391winceox5.jpg
  20. I had to . I can't stand people with more $ then brain power.
  21. Mike R rear diff brace is a must for launching. I think he goes by the name of Maximum PSI now? ExtremePSI? Beware of the plastic water pump of death!!! It left me on the highway...deep within KKK territory (I'm not the whitest person alive!!)
