  1. They were until Ron Cohen came. He was their CEO for awhile. While he put out great fiscal #'s for Kimber, it came at the price of decreased quality and reputation. Unfortunately, Sig hired him as their CEO in 2006 and Sig is now turning into another Kimber. He's doing the same god damn thing to them.
  2. due to poor machining...
  3. It's not that Kimbers are bad guns. It's just that they are overpriced, and over-rated; all of which is due to their superb marketing, and nothing more. It's kinda like how Jay-Z and Lil' Wayne tell you they're the best rappers in the world in every single one of their songs. Then, after awhile, all the sheep in the world start to believe that. Kimbers are made with sub-par parts, materials, and machining, and then they throw a flashy paint job on it. They look good sitting on the gun store shelves, but take one apart and really take a good look at it, and you'll realize you've paid entirely too damn much for it. Recommendations: -Dan Wesson (though their prices are jumping like crazy now that they've caught on) -Springer (low end choice) -Colt -Wilson -Nighthawk -Les Baer -STI -SVI -Fusion
  4. Do. Not. Buy. A. Kimber.
  5. Half right. And watch your mouth calling it a ruger. What's a Marlin 5? You are wrong. You win nothing. But I do have a 308mxlr as well. This just isn't it, though. Winrar CR fails. It's a Marlin 410xlr. Lever action shotty ftw. Thanks for playing.
  6. What is this and where can I get one? It would be perfect for my job. Less shit to get in the way = better. http://listphobia.com/wp-content/uploads/unique-watch-designs-06.jpg
  7. I've been wanting one of these for awhile now and finally found one, and decided to pick it up. Can you name it? http://i54.tinypic.com/ajv1vq.jpg http://i53.tinypic.com/smpsux.jpg P.S. Whatever you're thinking is probably wrong.
  8. Why you would buy an inferior, overpriced piece of shit like that HK over a tuperware gun is beyond me.
  9. If you want, I could take a look at it for you. I've taken all of my revolvers completely apart for internal fluff-n-puff jobs and am fairly familiar with their inner workings. If it's something you're interested in, lemme know.
  10. Let me know when you want to learn how to kill something. I'm pretty much an expert at death.
  11. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it's a cylinder bore and thus, won't accept chokes (unless you get it threaded). If that's the case, it'd be horrible at both.
  12. I do on my AKs. Windex, soap and water does miracles. An air compressor and some Mobil 1 is all you need.
  13. That Auburn player should have been booted for kneeing that guy in the face. And that Fairly (sp?) fuck should have been tossed as well just for being a fuckwad.
  14. No need for a lock of any kind. I just let my 5yo nephew look after my stash.

  16. I work with his daughter. She's taking over driving duties next year.
  17. This. Eat healthy. Exercise. Get established with a good primary care doc or NP. You're young. You could most likely bring it down pretty easily with diet and exercise.
  18. My thoughts exactly. That's not exactly a 'run-n-gun' type of weapon. Unless your blasting coyotes or something.
  19. Because its going to be unveiled at Shot show.
