I'm not going to post a long, drawn out review citing all that was good and bad about this movie. All I have to say is, if you haven't seen it, go rent it. Bad. Ass. Movie.

Well, it's 21 weeks old. The first week she brought this 1lb. dog home, I said, ''That dog ain't right." It walked crooked as shit, and it's ass-end would pop up in the air about every 4-5 steps. Well, a week after that, she took it to the vet and found out that, yeah, it does have some serious alignment issues. This upset her (mom). Well, we told her that maybe it wouldn't effect her, and would mostly just give her character...and it did. She's the funniest damn thing I've ever seen. She trys so hard to do normal dog things, and does quite well at it. She's just clumsy as shit when doing them. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago. We noticed that there was some (what looked like blood) in her shit. This upset my mom again, as by this point, she's gotten quite attached to the little thing. Her dogs are basically her replacements for us (her grown children). Again, I said, lets give it a couple days and see if it gets better. Maybe she's got some ulcers or something that are bleeding. We'll change her diet just to be sure she isn't allergic to anything. A few days go by and the bleeding goes away. All is good. Fast forward to last week. She started to eat less and less. She ususally goes crazy when you give her food. She normally out-eats the over-weight 12lb. Chihuahua (the little one weighs ~2lb.) We thought maybe she's growing out of her crazy eating habits. Well, Saturday night she wouldn't eat anything at all. This worried my mom. Sunday, same thing. She walked away from her food and went back to her bed and layed down, which was really unusual for her (she's quite spunky). Mid-Sunday, she became quite dull and lithargic (sp?). No vets were open, so they took her to the animal ICU in Worthington. They immediately took her back to start scoping her out. At first they thought she had something lodged in her throat. Throat and airways were swelling shut, and she was having trouble breathing. They stuck her in an incubater (sp?) with pure oxygen to help her get some air. They then thought that maybe she had been bit by a spider or stung by something and was having a reaction to it. They later canned that idea. Basically they were up in arms about what the hell was going on with this dog. Well, as of about 30 min ago, they called to get another $1,300, and to get authorization to put a feeding tube in her, since she hasn't had anything but an I.V supplement for the past 3 days. They are now at the thought that maybe she has some type of stomach conditon that is causing an excess build up of acid and could be causing her airways and throat to swell up, as well as some stomach ulcers, which could have caused the bloody shits she was having a couple weeks ago. (Damn I should have been a doctor). At this point, they're going to scope her throat while she's knocked out for the feeding tube, and take some biopsies (sp?) to make sure she doesn't have any type of cancer that's causing this. They're leaning towards some type of stomach condition that could be fixed with medication. So, hopefully this is the problem, since it does seem to be fixable. Damn that was a story and a half. /rant BTW, thanks for the info guys. I'll pass this along.

Does it exist? Does anybody have it? My mom's sank over $2,000 in medical bills into her new puppy in the past 3 days, and I would guess that number will keep growing. We were discussing whether or not pet health insurance existed, and if it did, taking out a policy on both of her dogs.

Couldn't have said it better myself. The design just doesn't lend itself to hard launching. Beefed up parts or not.

Not sure about the music, but, I think I passed you saturday evening in Canal Winchester. I saw the plates and waved, assuming it was you. Oh, but back to the music. I've been listening to 88.7 Radio U more and more recently. I've listened to 99.7 and 107.1 religiously for the past 10 years or so, and I needed a bit of a change. It's a 'christian rock' station, but if I ignore the jesus freak part of it, it's ok. Some of the songs are pretty gay (emo-ish), but every once in a while they'll play a good (what I feel is good) song. They don't have any sponsered commercial breaks so that's a good thing IMO for FM radio. Also, I'm not sure where they are stationed, but the reception isn't all the great in some places. Anyways, that's my take on it.

Wow, this story got twisted around. For starters, folks, I was one of the people that made the trek to Mansfield on Saturday night. After meeting up with the normal people I hang around on the weekends, we decided to meet up with Shawn with the silver SRT-4 (FlyBye 4 kid). He claimed there was to be a large gathering of nice cars up in Mansfield who were all looking to race. Now, I got conflicting stories from a few different people. Some said Mansfield's car scene was a joke, whereas Shawn said that he heard it was pretty good. So, we all decided to make the trip. Upon arriving, I see nothing that even remotely looks fast. We pull into the most crowded parking lot we could find, and immediately, some people from our group start blurting out, "Who wants to race?" This, I did not agree with as I am usually a bit more subtle, and try to avoid talking shit to people that I do not know. A few from the group walk around the parking lot trying to set up some races. Whether they were for money or not, or whether they were talking shit, I do not know. I never heard the conversations. Though, from hearing how a few of the people in our group presented themselve upon arrival, I venture to say that they were, infact, talking shit and IMO, going about it the wrong way. I can't say for sure. Some cars were challenged, some bikes were challenged, but no racing ever ensued. After spending some time there BSing with everyone, a friend of mine in a black Lightning decided to throw some friends in the back of his truck and cruise up the strip. At this point, I stopped paying attention to what they were doing. They drove around to the far side of the parking lot, and sat there for a few minutes, and then bolted out of there with a quickness. I later was notified that a passenger (a friend of mine) in the bed of the lightning was sucker punched while trying to exit the parking lot. Why was he punched? I can't tell you for sure. He claims not to have started anything, but again, I don't know the details. After this, they flag down a cop and return to the parking lot. The cop tries for a couple minutes to figure out who threw the punch, but after recieving conflicting stories from a couple different people in the group, he tells dave the forget about it. He then says that everyone has to leave the parking lot because of this incidence. Those are the details that I know of. For those of you that were offended by some of the people that were with us, I am truly sorry. I can't speak for everybody, but I myself, would have handled the call-outs differently. I'm not about causing drama. I'd hope that we could put this behind us, and possibly get some cars together again. Maybe next time with some pre-planning, and a bit more class and courtesy.
