Being in the L.E biz, maybe you can answer some questions for me (or anyone else for that matter). 1. Can I legally go to a range and shoot it while I'm 20y.o without someone there with me who is atleast 21? Can I take a friend who is 21? 2. I plan on using this as a carry gun once I turn 21 (july 20th). However, I wasn't sure how that would work out since the gun is technically in my father's name, being that he bought it. Will this cause any conflicts or issues if I'd happen to be pulled over, or something along those lines. And thanks for all the advice guy. I'm going to look into Ohio Valley. I didn't realize they had a range.

Wow. That was random. And honestly, I'm not sure if it'll work. I suppose total wheel width, as well as diameter would come into play on that. Stock offset is something like 54mm, or around there. I'd just find a way to measure it if I were you.

Did it have the big loopying spoiler/wing on it? If so, I remember seeing it around my town a couple years back. The original owner put on the "Import Killer" sticker. I remember seeing it for sale a little while later at Bob McDorman's. The previous owner has since bought a pewter SS. From what I've heard, he's also a bit cocky. Were you at Mid-Ohio this past weekend (Sunday?) for the ALMS race? I saw a car just like yours (red, same body, not sure about the wheels) parked with all the other Porsche guys. It said GT3 on the back though, and I couldn't remember if yours was a GT3 or not.

Those cars are NOT the DBRS9's. They are DBR9's. The DBRS9 is a derived from the DBR9, for private purchase (track days and such). However, Aston Martin has said that they are going to sell/have sold a few DBR9's (the full on race model) for private collecting. You are correct, in that, they are around $320,000 to buy a base model DBRS9. I too would have one if I had the $$$. Build mine with the optional sequential 6 speed please.

Take a close look at the intake runners on that sheetmetal manifold. It looks to me like there are nitrous bungs welded on there. Obviously nothing is hooked up at the current time, but possibly will be for the race with John and the vette? : oh noes :
