  1. I was just making a general statement. My personal philosophy for a defensive gun at night is one with a light mounted on it. Night sights are useless IMO if you can't see your target. The silhouette of standard sights with a light is superior IMO. I do, however, prefer a fiber front sight. Just personal preference. Carry what you're comfortable with.
  2. Just about every competition shooter will tell you that they're just as fast at acquiring a sight picture and shooting as they are with just pointing and shooting. Practice with your sights and use them. Or don't.
  3. 1. Utah went 3 and out. 2. Utah punter kicked it, and clipped the SkyCam wire. 3. Oregon got excited by their great field position. 4. Oregon got blue-balled by the refs when they voided the punt. 5. Utah went to kick again. Snap was high. Utah punter caught it one handed and ran it for a 37yd gain and first down. 6. Utah scored, again, on that drive.
  4. LOL! Utah is just fucking with Oregon at this point. Dat return, tho....
  5. Lol at the SkyCam wire trolling Oregon and +1000 for Utahs punter continuing the trolling.
  6. Cardale still worries me with his (semi) forced throws. As the pocket collapses, he slips to the outside and just stays there making little forward progress. He then pumps his arm a few times before making a questionable throw into coverage instead of running it for some yards. It's becoming quite predictable. He's gotten away with it for the most part but I'm thinking it'll bite him in the ass when we play a real defense. For Gods sake, you're slow, but just run the damn thing every once in awhile.
  7. Regular FL dies work great for 99% of stuff. I do have one .223 bbl I bought with a super tight match chamber that wouldn't accept rounds sized with my Dillon dies. So I bought the RCBS SB die and it works great.
  8. RCBS Small Base FL dies if you're reloading for an auto loader. i.e. AR15
  9. You won't get super consistent OALs unless you clamp the tool head. Check out UniqueTek.
  10. I haven't in a couple years. I used to shoot PCSI, miamisburg, Miami valley, and Briar. I'd love to get back into it but have gotten caught up in Sporting Clays recently and simply don't have enough time for both right now.
  11. I run 124s with 4.0gr of Titegroup. Powder puffs. And they meet minor PF consistently.
  12. Built. Getting ready to move into our new house and will be building another. Stand-by for build thread.
  13. We can start College Football Thread v12.0 after this post. Nothing more needs to be said in here. Flawless.
  14. Try new truck prices. I built a new Colorado online the other day, optioned out ........$44k A new GMC Sierra optioned out......$56k WTF? I'll keep mine. Fuck those retarded prices.
  15. Speaking of which: http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/13588372/tim-tebow-released-philadelphia-eagles Fucking :lolguy:
  16. I have about 5 sets of Dillon dies. They're OK. I had to have 0.020" lathed off the base of my .223 sizing die because it wasn't pushing the shoulder back enough for one of my tight-chambered barrels. Dillon told me to rub it on sand paper when I called them. Lol
  17. +1 they're keeping pace with Baylor pretty well.
  18. Anyone else watching the Baylor/SMU game? Yeesh.
  19. I run both. I like to work up test loads on my RCBS so I'll occasionally pull them out of their respective tool head, so it makes it nice when putting them back.
  20. XL650 and Rock Chucker here. I would highly recommend a case feeder depending on the volume you plan to run. The only Lee die I like is their FCD. All others I use RCBS and Redding. I have one set of Hornady and they aren't bad, but I like the others better. Pick up extra primer pins because you will break them. Pick up a stuck case remover die from RCBS. You'll be glad you did when you stick your first case. Hornady One-shot for case lubing or make your own. Frankfort Arsenal primer tube filler is the cats ass. Also, pick up some Hornady locking rings for your dies. They make life so much easier if you plan to swap dies out. Or better yet, add another toolhead as well for each caliber. Make sure you have a solid bench. Lag bolt it to the studs if you have too.
  21. $15k for a 12 year old car with 100k miles on it? Those things are seriously selling for that? Fuck that.
  22. And why does CR's self-proclaimed law scholar think its in place? Hunting rights? Self defense? Formation of a National Guard? And who are these scholars you speak of? Hillary? Obummer? lol. :dumb:
