    Dear Cr

I didn't say it was mediocre, I intimated that DJ would say it is. Entertaining, yup, I guess. Though the Sir Post a Lot guy seems kind of lost. Oh well, who am I to critique an e-battle?
  2. Dude, you're shitting in this guy's thread. Not cool. If you don't want to be constructive, then GTFO. And, BTW, intimating that the OP is a hypocrite, putting "charity" in quotes, and talking yourself up like some kind of mega CR supporter is not being constructive - that's just being a douche.

In before DJ admonishes people for mediocre flaming.
  4. No, I don't have a problem with it. And as long as Mark doesn't have a problem with it (and obviously you can't have any alcohol there), then I don't see a problem at all.
  5. Let me know when you and I will be playing pool. And, by playing pool, I don't mean playing pool.
  6. Mark, perfect - thanks. Will send you a PM.
  7. Thanks for the salt in the wound - much appreciated.
  8. Even a wheel of cheese is smart enough to know you posted in the wrong section.
  9. This thread is winning at life.

    Dear Cr

LOL - this is exactly what The Kitchen should be about. Well played, OP.
  11. Shop wherever you want. It's your money. I'm not being a Giant Eagle elitist - I was just sharing my experiences. FWIW, we used to shop at Kroger and we benefitted from their rewards program. We only switched to Giant Eagle after we discovered our savings was better with them versus Kroger.
  12. Yes, it's $0.10 off per gal for every $50. Yes, we let it accummulate, though I think you have to use it within a certain amount of time. Also, if you get gas from Giant Eagle, you get 1% off of groceries for every 10 gallons of gas that you get, IIRC. So, it's reciprocating savings - getting gas saves you on groceries, and getting groceries saves you on gas.
  13. I'm not sure if you're just being rhetorical or idiotic, but you might be surprised at how much money you can save by participating in programs like these. Not to threadjack, but I buy my groceries and gas from Giant Eagle, and I'm consistently pleased with my savings (e.g., my wife just recently filled up our 20+ gallon Montero for free - yes, $0.00). You have to buy groceries, and you have to buy gas. Why would you ever continue buying them without getting something in return?
  14. Unfortunately, I'm not available the following week.
  15. Exactly how many lead paint chips did you eat as a toddler? Just curious.
  16. Dover, I personally think this idea is great. Big ups to you for taking the initiative on this. I'd suggest having the event in some parking lot near a restaurant where car people like to hang out - Hooters or Roosters, for example. (This versus having it like in just some random parking lot.) That would take care of people's needs for food, drinks, and restrooms. I definitely like the idea of having some kind of entertainment there - a band or DJ or something. Music, drinks, and cars - I can dig that mix. I especially like the idea of hiring off-duty CPD to moonlight as security. The more police the better, I say. Make it a very controlled event - if your going for improved public relations, the last thing you'd want is some retards making some antisocial spectacle at the event, you know? Those are just my thoughts for now. Again, kudos to you for bringing this up.
  17. Well, bad news - I just received word today that I can't rent out the clubhouse because it's already being rented out by another resident for a graduation party. Will edit my original post. Any ideas for a Plan B?
  18. I really wouldn't consider Worthington the NW side? But I'm not the Geography Police. So welcome.
