koolrayz I love the pic. Seeing that car run made my night. I can defently say from my experance with my old ws6 that it helped on those extreme top end runs when I found myself going 130+ mph. I believe the next grudge match event is on the 13th. Ill have to let you know the week of but there is a good chance that we will be at the event as long as the judge for my dui case this thursday doesn't send me to jail for awhile. If that ends up being the case idk when he will be back up lol. So the answer to that is I'll have to let you know or he will. His name is Slowbalt on here just signed up as a member. Your zo6 will prob get him being that your a six speed he may be able to give your dad a good run though pending on launch.

Take my word for it I had front row seats and CR defently had the 2 fastest cars. I had my money on Ray all night since I am a trans am fan, but i will have to say Ray and Matt would have defently been a good run to see if it had worked out that way

Ha ha ha more power that is crazy. You have a bad ass truck man I wish I could have seen it make a full pass. Also I hope next time there a few more slower street cars not on slicks. When I mean slower I mean 12 sec cars or something in that range. I wanna see what my buddies cobalt can do against some more stiffer comp than what he had.
-
"Because the Cobalt SS doesn't just compete with the foreign cars, it beats them. It is the hottest-performing sports compact you can buy in the U.S. for under $30,000." I am impressed that Road and Track said this. It really is an amazing car and Im really more of a v8 guy, but this car is truely impressive. Everytime I get to ride in it I just smile its really all I can do and very few 4cl turbo cars with as little modds as this car has, have ever gotten this reaction out of me. Plus Road and Track tested a 4 door and Slowbalt's is a 2 door so out of the box I would have to assume it is slightly better numbers than they recorded.

Ray and Matt defently had a good chance at 1, 2 ing it for sure. I had a blast out there last night it was defently alot of fun. Ray I love your car that thing is so nasty I had my money on you all night long. I was the one with Mark Duffy last night walking around in the white huddie. My buddie was the one running the cobalt ss during grudge matches. I will defently be out to that track again. Seemed preped very well from what people were saying and the few wheel stands and high powered cars just squatin and rockin out of the gates proved that.

Ha ha ha thats funny. Kush isn't that good of stuff though. Maybe some good purple or northern lights would sound better... In all honesty I would say around 8 to 10 k unless you find some younger kid that wants to be a big dog and oggles at the big boy cars when they come to the meets. You could get say 10 to 13 k maybe a little more if you really talk him into it.

It may very well be but that glorified caviler walked an older m5 and a bolt on ls1 car from 60 rolls, and took a bolt on c4 vette by 3 to 4 cars from a dig at marion. Thats just mentioning a few of the cars it walked last night. Ill drive that glorified cavalier all day long. Its no different than an srt4 thats no more than a glorified peon or I mean neon...

Now we just need to get you unlocked to the rest of the forum.

It was nice meeting you too last night CRAWDAD last night was a blast wish I could have seen your car run. Brandon the kill list last night was long and impressive dude your car is defently in the 12's and its not just barely breakin into them your defently deep into the 12's after what I saw it doing to to some other peoples cars last night. And I can assure you alot of people are gonna remember that car from last night, because so many people were all grins when you would stage and kept saying wow that car is so quick when you were going down the track lol. I think your run against the tubbed out nova proved that.

I couldnt agree more that a tune makes the car. My old ws6 some people may remember it, it was red and really loud was owned prior by Dale (evills1)which I know alot of people on this site know who he is, was only a 347whp car yet anything 450 hp and under was fair game for me. It was all in the top end that the car seemed to have and it would never stop pulling no matter how fast you were going it was crazy. I beat up on countless svt cobras with bolt ons claming 400+ wheel from 20 rolls and even remember one fun evening I ran into a yellow built blocked procharged mustang (not going to mention any names though ) that couldnt come around me till 130 + on I think it was 3 different runs. Its not just the parts in your car its the quality of the tune you have that makes your car what it is...

Defently front to back unless I know im going to be with a dirty girl that like sucking on my balls later that night that I dont care for. Then I oppt for the back to front so I can laugh while she is at work on the boys and she has no clue why I'm laughing and when she asks "whats so funny" I respond with oh it just tickles.... +1
-
He does all of his tuning himself actually. Granted its all done on the street and he has no idea what he is actually putting down power wise the man can tune a car. At least this one ha ha this thing is night and day compared to what it was untuned and then how it felt last week when he took me for a ride.

Yo Brandon my lady friend with her Shelby gt cant come tonight her tire shop ordered a wrong tire and they wont let her take the car on mis matched tires even though the fronts would be the old ones and the rears would be the new tires. Sucks cause I was gonna be running her car at the track all night. Im gonna have to ride up with you then. Hit me up and we will meet up and Ill ride shotgun and film for ya. Maybe we can get a round of diskin in before we meet up with the peeps at polaris.

Welcome buddie good to finaly see you get on here. Don't doubt him guys his 2g went 11's at norwalk I believe as well alot of people would know that car if he still has pictures of it and his colbalt with basic modds and traction limited would have defently gave my old ws6 a run for its money and my old ws6 was a 12.60's car all day long. 12's or bust tonight my man like I have been telling you all week. You have some sticky tires now it better happen. Don't make me get in that car and show you how to drive it ha ha.

I will be there tonight.

Ha ha ha ha ha. Were gonna find you home boi

What I am about to write is directly quoted out of Sport Compact Car. I know the mag is no longer in publication but oh well. This comes from their June 2006 volume 18 edition with the cover title being "The Truth, Tunning Myths Busted Wide Open" "Myth #10 Roll cages make your street car safer... The Truth: This statement is only true if you are in a collsision while wearing a helmet. In reality, welding or bolting in a multi-point cage is one of the most dangerous things you can do to your street car. Even if scrupulously designed and wickedly fabricated, cages are ment for race cars and drivers wearing helmets. Sure a cage can dramatically improve chassis rigidity but this huge increase also means that energy that was supposed to be absorbed by crumple zones can now be directly transmitted to your body. In a high-impact collision, that sweet 4130 chromoly tubing can crack open your unprotected head like a watermelon. Cages can also negatively impact many of the existing safety features found in newer cars. Passive safety restrainds such as seat belts and active systems suchs as airbags are designed to work within a fixed ammount of space and cannot account for the cabin intrusion of a safety cage. In fact, in newer cars, cage tubing can prevent the deployment of certain side and side curtain airbag systems. And we haven't even mentioned the injury potential of poorly designed cages of suspect strength and geometry. Padding a rollcage can lessen the potential for injury, but unless you are willing to wear a helmet and a 5 point harness the the grocery store-you're better off without one in your street car."
-
Hate to say it but agree. Even if I had a ten second car I would only want the glory run to say it was and that would be it. But I think many people on here remember when coltbostin wrecked his colt doing something like 160 or 170+ on the freeway a few years back and what saved his life was his cage so I guess it goes both ways for me really. If it isnt your daily a cage really isn't going to kill comfort for you but you could end up with a cracked head.

Just post on here as to when the draft is going to be and like I said I am game. I am wanting to be in multiple leagues this year anyway.
-
The answer to that is simple so you can get that boat rolling. Big cam ie magic stick 3 Big heads Biggest shot of nitrous your willing to dump into your motor ie 150 to 200 shot. At least this is the word on the street to quick speed and much fun in your car. You will still have trouble keeping up with alot of the lsx guys on here but you will at least have more fun with your car. Saddly it was the setup that was planned for my ws6 and will also be the setup for my next ride that will be comeing sometime before 2012 lol.

Thats sick for sure. 34k sick that is questionable. You could defently work the hustle with it though and earn your money back one race at a time.
-
Im in for sure. ESPN has a great setup on their website for fantasy football too. Thats the site I use for baseball and football.

I wish him the best of luck. Never got the chance to be introduced to him but used to see him around at meets all the time. Always is a nice guy from what I could see.
