    WWE

I really have no idea how it has made it this long either. I have to agree though that some of those dudes have to absorbe some solid shots but the fact that everything is preset and the winner is already decided makes it quite lame. Ill take my UFC any day over wrestling or boxing for that matter.
  3. Unfortunatly I myself am having a hard time understanding this post. Haven't seen much contradiction in his points made and last time I checked in the muslim thread more and more people are on the side of its their constitutional right to have the mosque even if we don't compleatly agree with its placement... I love how when people become baffled or seem to not have much else to say on the topic at hand they turn to e bashing and name calling to in some way make themselves feel better, when actually it just makes you look like an idiot. This is why I try to stay out of debates that pretain to religion or politics, because no one ever wins and usually everyone loses... The main reason why I am in these discussions is because they are over the web so you can say whatever you want with little or no backlash and people usually don't judge you by how you act over the web, because it is usually far from how the person acts in real life.

    Oh Jesus..

Just curious not trying to discredit you in any way but where did you get this information? Like I said Im just curious.
  5. He isn't bringing the car out tonight so don't worry about it, otherwise I would say hell ya but oh well its all good. I dont think its gonna be raining all night but oh well I may head out to heath for mopar nats but who knows. I may fall asleep watching baseball too ha ha. We will have to line something up here sometime though. He is prob in the mid 12's so his car isn't blazin fast but its got some balls to say the least for a minor bolt on fwd turbo 4 with a tune.
  6. Anyone doing anything tonight then? My buddie wants to get some runs in somehow since he is running 50% e85 on a new tune and wants to see where his car is at now. Btw Dover it was nice to see you the other night at QS&L for the lsx meet. Its been a long time man the busa looks nice. Man that meet really made me miss my old ws6....

Actually the debate is all about religious freedoms. They are wanting to practice their said religion in their own place of worship, which is something many people on this forum do every Sunday at church. The only difference is they are not praying to the same God that we are so why should we punish them for their feelings and ideas of God and religion as they see it. Like it has been said before not all Muslims are out to blow our country into pices and kill us all. Only a small percent. Why punish that large fraction of people over the actions of a select few who are undereducated and brainwashed? Thats like saying all white people hate black people because whites started the KKK. I do agree that there are bigger fish to fry too ie gov officials, because over the years our country has began to forget and choose to ignore the fundementals that have got our country to where it is now. These are the same fundementals that this country was built off of. We are slowly moving away from a Democracy and more towards dictatorship/socalist government ideas. We are a government built for the people by the people and its not that way anymore and won't change untill the people make a stand. Unfortunatly this has slim chances of happening because the government has scared the people into thinking we need them to protect us by telling us how to live our lives, and telling us what we can and can not put in our bodies.... the list goes on and on.

    Oh Jesus..

+1 I also knew it it was going to be a YMCA and what not as well but for some reason forgot to put it in my post. I remember them talking about it on FOX news during dinner a few weeks ago with my parents. The advice of letting hate go is some strong and deep words that may effect and hurt some but I couldn't agree more. Don't get me wrong I have friends over seas right now fighting, and I thank them everytime I see them for what they are doing for us, and I will take the time now to thank anyone who is reading my post that has been in the armed forces and has protected our country. Without you guys we wouldn't be able to freely speek our thoughts and beliefs without fear of saying the wrong thing and being persecuted. I know adjusting back to civillian life is probably a hard thing to do after being overseas and having to kill other people, but adjusting back is a must because then it allows you to get a grip on reality instead of living the life that you had to live over seas which I hate to say is far from reality or a normal lifestyle. I feel bad for alot of people that has had to fight oversea's because their minds or so torn apart by the time they come back that they don't compleatly know who they are anymore. Have seen this first had with some of the people I know who have recently came back, its scary to say the least. I know not all soldiers are effected this way I'm just commenting on the few that I know personally.

    Oh Jesus..

Agree with this. Why did we come to this country in the first place? To allow people to practice their own religous, and personal ideas without fear of persecution. Now many years later we as a country are denying other people this same right and chance at a free life that we came to this country searching for as well. I don't compleatly agree that this building should be built, but also preventing it from being built will violate many of the constitutional rights that our country has been built off of and be a slap in the face to all those that have died protecting and also gaining us these rights. Anytime I ever go to Slowbalt's condo he usually has FOX news on his big screen not MSNBC, so don't be quick to judge him as a liberal just because he is able to take himself outside of his little comfort bubble that many of you are still living in with your blinders on, and look at things outside of the box with a different more open minded perspective.
  10. Well you now have kinda called him out. You are one against many here. Sam is known by alot of people and most are going to side with him and e-beat you down. You need to learn when to just keep your mouth shut and take it instead of just digging a bigger hole...
  11. This car looks nasty. I am very excited to see it run. I have heard stories but have never seen it go in person. Im sure it will be nothing short of impressive to say the least.
  12. I don't think this is what he is necessarly saying. When looking at the big picture the vast majority of farms in Ohio (refering to your friends that grew up on farms) are not very large farms thus not producing a very vast amount of goods when compaired to the farms that you see out in Iowa, Kansas, and the other parrie states. Less wood lots equal alot more land to farm on. I go out to Kansas to phesant hunt with my dad every year and alot of the field sizes out their are as large as some farms in Ohio. And we are only talking about one field that the farmer owns not counting all the others as well. Im not knocking on Ohio farmers because my grandfather recently retired from a life of farming and made a good honest living, but his farm was blown out of the water in comparision to the size of farms out west. I cant find the over all percent of national harvest that the western states make up, but I can promise you this its a great deal if not the vast majority, and Im willing to bet that of those farms out west a great deal of them are owned, managed, or affiliated with a couple of big names out that way.
  13. There isn't any tech as far as I could tell as long as you were not dripping fluid or any of that stuff on the track you were good to go. I saw 3 dudes ridding in a jeep suv the last time I went and they raced my buddie so I will have to assume passangers are good too. I can tell they just want you to have a fun time and a good experiance up there. As long as your not going out of your way to make it a bad time for everyone or acting extreamly dangerous you can do whatever really.
  14. There is a good chance you will get worked man. The ITR I have to say can hold its own. It runs very well actually.
  15. I should be there with a few people I know. hpfied you should have your races as of now too as long as my buddie is still coming with his whip. As of now I think its a go.
  16. You are also driving an rx7 not a sohc vetec civic with a fart can. There many imports that are now coming more into the collectible car classification instead of just being labled as a compact sports car. This is where the difference comes into play if your driving a supra, rx7 and any other more sought after imports you are gonna get the same breaks from the po po that you get in the v8 cars. The list of things that I got pulled over for in my ws6 is a mile long and I never once got a ticket while I owned the car.
  17. Profiling happens every day lets be honest here. I can think of many times I was leaving meets with a pack of cars and my friend in his probe always got pulled over no one else just him and he was the only car with a fart can in the entire group. They would even have the nerve to tell him his car was too loud when everyone else was running straight through style or cut outs on our v8 cars and we would be so loud you couldnt even hear his car over us.
  18. Were talking about the same place. Im not ripping on people who drive imports I really dont mind them myself Im just saying cops are more prown to pulling over that honda civic with a huge fart can on it than say a bolt on ls1 car.
  19. Clean car welcome to the site. I have always like the 2g dsm. I will own one here one day after get the more important toys I want first.
  20. Hell I remember a few years back when I would be out with some people dig racing out in the country where we could trip a stop light and what not and the sheriff would pull up and get out of his car and talk to us and look at all of our cars and start asking tuning questions like what we had done to a few of our cars and how this or that part worked out in our cases. Basically looking for advice then he would just go down the street and park and watch us race as far as I know. Dude showed up almost everytime we got called in and never once made us leave. But being that we all had v8 cars and not a single import was ever in the crowd helped our cause I would assume because its usually the ricer boys that cause all the problems in the first place.
  21. The cobalt is black. Shocking that is the stock bov on it too. Dude really doesn't have much done but has one hell of a tune. I think he was on 24 psi and running 21 degrees of timing that night lol. He was shooting for 12's or bust and never got to get a time slip but as I said to him on the way home you are well into the 12's so dont worry. Hell he was the fastest car there on street tires ie drag radials and slicks are not street tires in my book really. He and I should defently be up there the 14th I wanna see his car do work again.
