  1. Jack has always been strongly opinionated and def rubs some the wrong way like any journalist. He gets a lot of "feedback" online in particular, reading a lot of it people in general just need to relax as its just an opinion but it keeps him off of a lot of the social media and such as people take stuff way too seriously.
  2. He also writes for Road & Track magazine. He's on Facebook but due to the nature of his job and internet heathens he is non-existent on there(he pissed off some of the VWvortex folks writing about the new GTI when he said he'd rather have the Fiesta ST). He was also a regular at autocross back in the day here but his colorful commentary wasn't appreciated by all.
  3. Saw it in 2d IMAX, excellent film. Looking forward to renting it on bluray so I can watch it on my home system. When is it expected to release on disc?
  4. Gary Fishers were great bikes in their day, built like tanks. I had an old rigid Tassjara, beat the living hell out of it and it never had issues and it was nice to ride on.Will be tough to find the right one used though. He currently designs some of the Trek bikes which look nice but I've never been fond of them myself. A lot of what will determine what kind of bike you get is what you plan to do it, many of them are tailored down to their suspension for certain terrain though most will ride well enough on most anything. As said already, def go out and test out a bunch of different bikes.
  5. ^Both were great shows and would like to see them both back on.
  6. Was harkening back to the old days is all.:dumb:
  7. Sunny and going to be 70 degrees here today, think I might stroll down to the stadium and check out the festivities before the game!!:fuckyeah:
  8. Better than a Malibu Eco at least. Hope that has a "push button start"!!:lolguy:
  9. 1984 Cutlass Supreme Brougham, dad bought it for $100 with a bunk transmission, dead suspension, and engine that had compression on only about 4-5 cylinders. He had a mechanic friend swap in an entire same year cadillac suspension and trans and rebuilt the engine for $700. It was a rust bucket, it was terribly slow, but damn if it wasn't a comfy cruiser that had plenty of room for friends. Had it taken away 2 weeks in for doing 1 wheel peels over in front of JC Penny outlet. Lost it again weeks later for getting a ticket in Reynoldsburg for doing toilet paper streamers from the car.
  10. I remember when they opened, loved the place. It is amazing how things change. I grew up behind JC Penny outlet and can just barely remember when the built the Meijer on Brice rd and Scarborough mall, Cub Foods across the street, how things have changed....
  11. I used to drive truck cross country, if you travel much at all you won't like Sprint, weak coverage and their system at least used to require you to reboot the phone to get a good connection when traveling or you get shitty connections, T-Mobile is somewhat better. Verizon has the best coverage overall and for data, for voice AT&T is best.
  12. Coverage and service were terrible for me with Sprint. Only T-Mobile issue I have they screw around on the bill some, but a quick call and they fix it stating "I'm not sure what that charge is for" lol. Nice thing with T-Mobile is if they piss you off you can leave anytime as its all no contract, just make sure you take a factory unlocked phone to them and your gold.
  13. They're not allowed, safety hazard. Some places have a drive-thru machine that takes it off the roof but only in the heavy snow climates.
  14. ^This, it's now available on Netflix. While I certainly found some lines pretty funny I didn't like it and would have never paid to see it.
  15. iPhone 6+ on T-Mobile. Does everything well and doesn't need replacing/upgraded because of failed operating system every 6mos.
  16. My initial thought is this was near Cabbage which is notorious for bad accidents like this but it's not, still though in the winter the weather up there can get pretty wild and you can go from rain to snow and ice in just a few miles. That is quite literally the luckiest guy ever basically walking away from an accident like that, just unreal.
  17. NFL Playoffs are going on during the weekend this time of year(Sat/Sun), no different than regular season where college and pro's are never on at the same time.
  18. Vote for this, as mentioned dipping is your best option as you have nothing to lose on it. Car looks great!
  19. Tetrisphere was the shit!! Loved that game and now you have me wanting to play it again. The soundtrack was amazing! Currently playing Crackdown 2 and just picked up GTA 5.
  20. $$ talks eh?? Personally I still don't think he will or should do it, but if anyone can make it a rivalry again I think he can.
  21. Tide fan, do you expect anything else??:dumb:
  22. I've seen this in Cali numerous times, it works well enough but the key is information. Making sure the average motorist is aware that it's legal to do so, if not the caging will be an issue.
  23. Overall I'm with most, they did it the right way. Personally, when that woman got out of her car I'd have run her over and put an end to it right there,
