Yeah, about half the crowd nearly dived to the ground with that low pass over us, they always do it at every air show but it gets me every time.

I talked to someone that got to drive a regular Lancer with the paddle shift and said it was terribly slow, though Mitsu is claiming it will be as good as the Audi DSG(and that's a big claim!) on the Evo.

I think we did stumble up as far as we did because we certainly would not be ranked this high if it weren't for the losses above us, I think Kirk maid a fair assessment. I think this weekend we'll finally be challenged as Purdue has the #6 offense in the country and have been playing well all around.

Regardless of the outcome we know Michigan DID win those games and all this really does if they are penalized is likely take them out of the Big 10 title run.

Yeah, bad habit. I heard the announcer say it had been changed to the FA-22 now since the plane had gone into service. It was really cool seeing all the old Mustangs, many of them had a good number of kills to their credit and were still in good shape(though I'm sure somewhat restored). There were around 100 of the said 160 P-51 Mustangs left in existence at this show and one of the only replicas of the Japanese Zero from the movie "Tora, Tora, Tora" as no Zero's are believed to be left in existence.

It looks like a rabbit, if so I'd say I know the guy who procured the car and he has a serious knack for finding good running VW's for arouns $100!! Judging by that trophy they either won or did really well in the race.

This wasn't a normal annual airshow and you don't see a fraction of what's there in my film, this show featured primarily Air Force planes. Considering the best air shows in the region are put on in Dayton at Wright Patterson there's no need to travel 3 hours up north.

You are correct, half of the guys in that pic are regular autocrossers in our region. I heard them talking about this race and they're already making plans for next year I believe.

It was pretty cool crawling around in a B-17!! Those things were not built for big guys and the poor guy that had to squeeze into the ball turret at the bottom of the plane.....sheesh!!

It's a little shakey because it was hard to keep up with the speed of the planes at times. The Raptor is amazing, goes into a vertical climb then hovers pointing straight up and flips over....any other plane in the world would stall and crash!! Awesome show but pricey, Enjoy.
