We have this at our local autocross in the same class: http://richard.safier.com/OVR/bills-090207/target591.html It's powered by a Porsche n/a flat-6 of some sort. I'm just guessing but I think the chassis is a kit designed to be with that type of motor but I'm sure someone out there makes kits like these or if you can build a chassis like that you could set it up for almost any motor!!

Unfortunately I can't help much with a Mustang as I don't much about them but 1 thing you didn't mention that I hear a lot is a "K member"?? The car can be made to handle and if you really want to see a prepped mustang come to our next event in October, the owner will gladly give you a ride and probably be able to give you some advice on setup. That's a little bigger than a go-kart, it's built for autocross obviously as it's labeled for the "AM" class. I'll bet that thing really moves once he gets all the body work onto it and gives it some downforce.

I caught some special on tv last night about places opening up at midnight just for the game, they mentioned having check out lanes just for that. They interviewed people saying they either called off work or had scheduled the day off just so they could play the game all day. That's a bit much if you ask me.

I would highly reccommend selling the eibachs, coilovers will give you a better ride with adjustable shocks, ability to change the ride height and perform a lot better than springs/shocks combo will. In STS your limited to a wheel size no wider than 7.5" and a tire no wider than 225mm with a treadwear rating no lower than 140. Get as light of a wheel as you can afford and I would go with something close to stock size/offset. I have a copy of the current rules so ask away when you have a question about a mod so we don't get you bumped out of STS as it's a big class of fun cars and the next step up is a steep one.

I like the non-flipups but not the color.

The sportline springs are pretty low for daily driving, it might be better for both autocross and dd to get a set of decent coilovers. Your car should have a lot of choices for around $500 for a set and you get to choose your ride height and they simply work better. Aside from driver, tires will be the best mod for you but it's also your daily driver so it's a tough choice for that. The new street tire to have for autox is supposedly the Bridgestone RE01R but their pricey. You can't go wrong with the Falken Azenis and the Hankook RS2 is very good and cheap. You'll be in the STS class but we'll have to watch what type of braces you put on as certain types that mount differently will boot you to a higher class quickly. Since your going to mod it, do it before the season starts if possible then once the season starts leave the car alone. The suspension and tires will help a ton but the biggest variable is the driver. Work on yourself and not changing the car will make "you" go faster and learn to drive better. When you do come out next year we'll get a good highly experienced driver to drive your car if you'd allow it and you'll see the difference the driver can make and you learn a ton from it, I did.

Well it's been going downhill more with our lack of policing as we own that lot per the agreement and we can remove anyone we want to. For the most part a good portion of the idiots stay in the Texas Roadhouse lot where they get kicked out of which is fine with me.

^^This is why I never have raced for money, especially when it's "street racing". At least with legitimate racing there is documented proof of a winner and a governing body to make calls in a time of controversy, though there's always debate in any type of sport.

Don't forget Purdue, they do have the best offense in the Big 10 and are looking good so far against Minnesota(though it's minnesota!!) and Iowa is currently leading Wisconsin as I post this!!

^^Fucking great!! Yeah Michigan won, so what? They didn't look that good to me and were at home for the 4th game in a row!!! Plus with their schedule they face NOBODY until their at Wisconsin. Don't get me wrong, their imo a strong top 25 team but their defense is not anywhere what it was.

From what I saw in Atlanta during the Nopi weekend they do some serious big money racing down there. 1st race was a blown v8 S10 vs. a blown v8 Vega for supposedly $700 or something, then an M5 ran something else and I left as a trailered Supra with monster slicks on the back was getting ready to race. That vid was kinda gay though.
