I saw an interesting stat a couple years back on the number of cars sold vs. the number of dealerships each manufacturer had. Toyota had sold more cars than GM with something like 45% less dealerships than GM, maybe GM is taking a hint from them??

Heh, no amount of dynamat would have quelled that exhaust enough, but it helped with the direct noise since the muffler(that didn't muffle shit) was right under my seat. I can't speak for any other product but the Dynamat is damn good stuff and will do what you need it to.

I used dynamat in my laser to quell some of the exhaust noise, worked well at deflecting the noise from directly under the car.

Ch.4 had some pretty god video of the lightning, you could even see the camera shake from a bolt hitting near by. They showed where lightning hit a place in Zanesville, caught it on fire, firefighters show up to put it out and lightning hits the building again knocking one firefighter out a window!!! What are the chances of that!?!

The GM guys I met this past weekend were really cool even though I don't own one, they seem to be really enthusiastic about what they do and motorsports. I hope to get in free since the SCCA Speedworld Challenge is going on and I have volunteered to work a shift which is well worth it.

I, like most people, have a home computer and see no reason to have a phone other than to have a phone and not all this other bullshit they put on them and have to pay for. Though it's not much money for some of these phone plans the little things like these add up quickly and I have a lot of better places to spend my money. Cliffs: If the phone isn't free I won't buy it.

Good times today. Got to see a flipped mustang as we entered, in the paddock area we saw a Koni Challenge TSX with no left rear corner on the car limping to his garage, watched the Pontiac team take about 15 mins to install an LSX into a GXP-R and offered them $500 for one of the other LSX' they had just laying on the ground!!! The Koni cars were pretty cool, a number of RX8, Miatas, some Z4's and other bimmers, several cobalts(which were fast) and some mini poopers. It got really interesting when it rained as they opted to stay on their race tires, lots of passing and sliding going on, watched a Z4 nearly punt a miata off the course when the miata slid a little and the Z4 couldn't avoid, and this was all just around madness. We talked to some GM guys that had a new Cobalt SS with them. What a sweet car, they've added a new option for a digital display on the A-pillar that displays everything from boost, speed, g-force, engine advance, hp and more, and big Brembo brakes. The big thing is the new warranty says you can race the car all you want and they will cover it under warranty as long as you use GM parts on it!! I want one!

Anyone else going up to M/O tomorrow for the Triple Crown/EMCO Classic or have already been today?? Some buddies and I are going to check it out tomorrow though it seems most of the good stuff is going on today. I believe the BMW series race and Mustang Challenge are going on sunday.

Wether he was racing or not is no longer important, the word "racing" has been used and that's what everyone is going to believe wether he did or not. If it was an accident I would feel sorry for the guy but he fled the scene....end of story. Though I've been out to the "scene" once this year this is the kind of stuff why I've given up on it, it's just stupid anymore. How many more people have to die before the stupidity stops?? Take it to the track.
