  1. would be sweet if it had a japanese toilet in the back. then my ass could always be as fresh as my car.
  2. Stick with a fc or 240sx with a different power plant, The cars are cheap, they are light 2600 lbs, and good deals on parts are easy to come by. You can also get a s12 or 200sx to be different, but swapping anything big in them is pretty hard, and the aftermarket is little to none. Another option is the M30 with rb swap the M30 is the closest thing the US has got to the skyline other then the r35. It shares the same chassic as the r31 skyline and engine swaps are drop in, I mean drop in no kits nothing. And the cars are some what nice, leather, bigger sports coupes, the car is just an all around win. No joke tho you can pick up mint m30's for under 3,000 better hurry if you want one before they are all gone, they finally made it to the spotlight. rb26+m30 small bolt on's= mid 11 second daily driver with leather, AC, and room. You ever want to get into the nissan rb world , I know tons about them and crap ton of parts aftermarket and oem. I can help you swap and wire friday and have the car back on the road sunday, let me know inline 6 turbos are so much fun! you can build 6xx whp on stock bottom end and cam's with the motor running like a stock car, they are great motors. http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g127/boosted98gst1998/M30.jpg
  3. Keep pushing forward, because in the end it will pay off when you hear the car you built run. Anyone I mean anyone ,can buy parts and pay someeone to put them on, it really takes a dedicated person to have the balls to try it themself's until they get it right. If it was not for garage type tuners/ builders the car game would be ages behind. Props to you and good luck!
  4. this is a good hit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_OhZAh-Btw
  5. Ive met him a few times just through mutral friends, played beer pong with him in marysville this past december, josh hunt is one of his best friends who ends up being a co worker of mine, Josh always give me a ton of free energy drinks and free crap that gets sent back from utah.
  6. great to see it up and running , just a thought if the engine is out and your rebuilding stuff, you should take the time and clean some stuff, that engine bay looks horrible, no offense. Good luck with everything.
  7. That is so cool , I really hope you find it. Me and my father are still trying to locate a toyota tureno he imported back in the late 80's with no luck. If I was in your shoes id find a way to buy that back, im sure it means a lot to you! Good luck
  8. Its proving that the seller is truley Fraudent (which we know he is) but they will not do shit without proof, it would be much much much easy if it was local. I could not prove it in my case because nobody could find the guy, you really think they give out legit info or home addresses? They use pre paid phones, and fake addy's. Someone else on here got scammed buying rim's in FL and they also had a fake ups info, the police could not do shit because by the time they realized it was a fake tracking number the person is long gone, they ended up catching the guy from hollywood FL was big in the dsm world for ripping people off dsmtrader. Most the time they work states away, they ended up catching the guy working in WA state in yakama and was doing his scamming in Hollywood florida. Yeah its a federal crime to use the mail for commiting crimes, unless this guy is on the FBI list for scamming local pd wont do shit. They take a report, you make a report with bank...... They tell you they can not refund the money, life goes on, it sucks but what can you do . I called the PD everyday and called my bank and paypal, I already know how this is going to end. They did not give two shits about my 900 bucks.
  9. I went through this same shit just on nico, the police told its just like local laws if its not over 500$ its just a m1. The hard part is going to prove that this guy did not really send something out and had intentions of stealing your money. I ended up losing 900 bucks just 4 weeks ago, this is the 3rd time this has happend . The other times it was just for small amounts under 200, which no matter what pisses me off. I filed a claim through my bank, local police, and in atlanta and pretty much they tell me that I will never get it back. The hard issue with dealing with the internet is if he does not admit to it, there is not much they can do. Paypal is a fucking joke, debit cards are a fucking joke, if you want to buy something online use a money order that way they can track everything. Another thing is sometimes them damn ups numbers never get updated, I just ordered stuff from california and it showed it was in the system and 3 weeks later it just shows up with any updates.
  10. What ever happened to respecting your elders, come on no matter what was said, do you really think everyone is going to let you smack them in the face? "im pretty sure he said dont fuck with me i'm a marine" all jokes aside that old man can swing with the best of them for his age, add his weight and size behind them punches and you get a bloody ass face quick!

    Temper...

You ever find him? The dickhead plowed a snow bank in front of the driveway again! slowplow dickheads!

    Temper...

This must be the same fucker that plow's all the snow right in front of my parents drive way!!! Shit pisses me off too, spend a few hours cleaning the driveway and come back out to see a 4 foot wall of packed snow and ice from the plow. Either way good thing you/she stopped yourself. A close friend of mine is doing 36 months in prison because 3 wannabe thugs picked a fight with him near his property. One thing led to another he went inside and grabbed pistol that was not loaded to "scare" them. he never pointed it at them just waved it in the air as he walked out. He had never been introuble one time in his life and now hes pissing away 3 years of his life up state. All he can do is sit while his wife and kids struggle to pay the morgage and eat.
  13. Whats the offset of the rims? Most people using a 11 inch rim use a 325 tire. If your using a 275 thats only 10.2 inches for the 11 inch rim that makes no sense to run that small of a tire for that rim. That defeat's the whole purpose of a truck.
  14. a 275 on a 20 inch rim is going to look like a cookie cutter at 11 inches wide. the oem wheels are 255's on the v6 the flair side was eithe ra 255-275 series, same with the diesel's. a 275 is way too small for a 11 inch rim unless your into the stretched jdm look.
  15. No offense but id stay oem rather then putting china bay XXR shit on any car.
  16. Sunflower on sawmill road by played again sports has great authentic dim sum. Try that out ive only ate there one time but it was very good.
  17. IF you're on a tight budget you will not be able to afford the sleeves let alone the proper machine work. Any sleeved 4 cly forged internal motor even doing 75% of the work yourself will be in 2500-3000 just in all basic parts alone, then add machine work and the stuff you have to pay someone else to build it.
  18. Do the math take the offset of the rim and tire and measure the hub out, Its going to all depend on the offset of the rim, onto how far its going to stick out.
  19. Do it yourself or take it local, people should really stop supporting shitty companys that sell chinese or knockoff parts and support real companys.
  20. Wow clean little car you have, looks similar to the one a co worker of mine has! keep up the good work and welcome to cr.
  21. Welcome to CR, you do not seem like a fucking douche bag +1 Enjoy the site
  22. Thats not always the case or 100% , true the oils today are not loaded like the past but does not always mean thats a good thing. AMSOIL list what Phosphorus levels and zinc level ppm per type of oil. Today oil is more hightech then anything from the past todays zinc based diesel/gas oils are at the top of the game. Enos is another good oil but pricey with high levels of zinc great for break in .
  23. How can the diagram not work? its plain as day to what needs to be connected for the coilpack.
  24. Everyone is going to have their own opinion or what worked for them. The people you do not want to listen to is the people who has never done this in person, advice from the internet is not aalways right lol. Everyone does it different easy break ins hard break ins ect. Personally id go with one from who you trust and can maybe call up. Every engine is different from oem rings to cromoly rings , bearings, engine tollerences . Depending on oil you want to make sure you have a high level of zinc in the oil , they have additives for engine break in or you can use diesel oil which has a ton of zinc levels in it, which dino oil lacks with out the additive. Personally when I broke my engine in I used diesel oil from amsoil and used a dyno to break the first part of the motor in, after the second oilchange I drove the car on the street.
  25. Fuck it, the worst case you buy another 3-4k tranny that can take the abuse, fuck stock shit for racing. If your not breaking stock trannys just from a gear pull then your turbo is too small.
