A couple things. How much are you going to spend on tires? You can get tires on forums cheap, and also wheel /tire takeoffs, etc for great prices on model specific forums. As far as having 2 new and 2 1/2 tread on quattro, you will be fine. Check out vwvortex wheel and tire thread, audizine quattroworld etc

Yes it was nicer, but the layout was goofy imo. We had it in the smaller room and had great decorations/setup and it was perfect imo.

A) people are fucking crazy B) i think some of them do it as a way of saying, "It's only a car/money." type thing. I had a teacher in highschool who bought one of the first S2000s in Columbus. He said the dealer techs loved when he came in with it, would do all this extra stuff for him. He bought magnetic flames and put them on the fenders as a joke.
