  1. May I suggest that you skip the NEW cars altogether? I am sure you know that on ALL luxury brands you can save 5-10k by buying a slightly used Certified Pre Owned example and get the longer warranty. Since you aren't looking at this car as a performance car, a CPO 2007 RS4 is out of the question then. They can be had for low 40s with around 30k miles and their CPO warranty is to 100k. I would look at the 2009 A4 3.2Q and 2.0T Quattro. I would also look at the new TL with AWD (I think they are ugly as shit, but worth a look). The only lexus I would go for is the GS AWD, and Mercedes E350 4Matic. I HATE the IS and C classes. Maybe throw the G37 AWD in there as well. Good value . Also check out the Passat 3.6 4motion CPO. Have you thought of the Q5? Great SUV. With all of that said, I am a die hard VAG guy. I would look at the B8 A4 in 2.0T and 3.2 versions, the B7 S4 and RS4, the A6, Q5 and lastly the Passat 3.6 4motion. All in the CPO market.
  2. Just drove an A4 2.0T Quattro 6 speed today (2010). Great car. I would post up a price, not a category, to help us. I mean used A4's and IS250s probably go for 30k, and a base SHO is 38k. Not exactly apples to apples. Without any relevant info, A4 2.0T Quattro S-Line 6 speed or 335xi 6 speed.
  3. agree. I think I will be buying one for my wife next year.
  4. I actually have a RC car. The kind you build your own, car itself without the motor or controler or anything was like 260, We have over 1k in it, but its an electric RWD one. Needs a speed control thinger. I might dust it off and try to get it working again. How do I figure out my options though? 4x4 conversion, gas engine conversion etc.
  5. My post was aimed at Paul, not you. Obviously wasn't very clear. Sorry about that.
  6. I would check this stuff out. Just a quick google search found some leads. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=used+40ft+containers&aq=f&oq=&aqi=g1
  7. They sell cheeseburgers at McDonalds. Its not what your asking for, but figured I could post retarded stuff as well.
  8. I have been to the one off hamilton rd ish by gearheadz twice. It was ok, but not anything I would spend that kind of money on. Much better places to waste $100.
  9. M&P 9mm I shot was nice. I have a S&W 5906 (9mm) that I really like too. I also have a Colt .38 detective special, cool gun but not a fan of how it felt.
  10. I am starting to apply for jobs after graduation, and I think the answer is a gym membership. Keep the hobbies/time killing activities coming though.
  11. Wow, that sucks. Sorry to hear that. I think your last statement is the answer to my thread btw.
  12. I go to OSU full time and work part time. I still have a lot of free time and get fucking bored, fast. I love cars, but don't have the money or space to mod my GTI yet or to get a project car (both will come next year though). I take my dogs to the park once in a while, I clean up the house, do laundry etc. But I still get fucking bored. Its mega fucking annoying and it pisses me off lol. So what hobbies do you guys have that help pass the time? Mountain biking? Exercising? Stamp collecting? etc. Let me know what you guys do for fun (not drinking or smoking) and to kill time. I am tired of refreshing my half dozen forum pages every hour or so to hope something funny or entertaining is happening.

  16. My parents used to blow a bulb about every week on their exterior lights on either side of their garage (single bulb lantern style). They switched to the coiled up long lasting eco type bulbs and they have only replaced 1 in the last year.
  17. Wife is from Enon. Huge town, I am sure you have heard of it. haha
  18. I will be graduating OSU in December with a BS in Human Ecology. My major is Family Resource Management - Banking Track. The degree allows me to do pretty much any entry level business job. A couple of friends and co-workers have this degree. One works for a financial planner, one does accounting for a small firm and the other is a personal banker. I am looking for any leads on a similar type of job. I am leaning towards a personal banker job, but I am open to anything. Thanks guys. PS: email is batey.10@gmail.com
  19. Family resource management. Graduate in December.
  20. All of this was given. The question was why does risk premium increase more than the increased risk? Answer is that when risk of the risky bonds increases, money is shifted from risky bonds to riskless bonds. In doing so, the interest rate of the risky bonds increases, and because more people want riskless bonds, their rate decreases. Risk premium is the difference between the 2 assets. So if one increases by 1%, and the risk premium is 1.5%, the other asset decreased by 0.5%.
  21. ahahahahahaha This is Econ 520 Money and Banking. I am taking Econ 502 (Macro) also. I took 201 (intro macro) about 5 years ago.
