All of the complaining about OSU loosing is really funny to me............. I watch the games, have a great time, talk with my friends, and don't listen to a word any "journalist" says about OSU. It will always be the same, hate. If OSU wins, it will be about how this other team that didn't play OSU was really the best team in the country, but they never got a chance to play OSU. Or if OSU looses, it will be about how didn't deserve to be in the NC game in the first place. OSU is good, OSU will be good for a long time, OSU will always get shit on win or loose.

I just went to my first rallyX on Saturday to watch Draco-REX. It was really cool, basically an AutoX on dirt. Mostly Subaru's, there was an Evo, new SI, and 2 MKIII Golfs. I think you just have to sign up online, and have a helmet. I would not use your DD though, seems to be pretty rough on the cars, lots of dirt/rocks/big bumps etc.

x2 I think the 5.0 could look good......but probably wont. You already have a Mustang reference (which is actually really nice btw) I think the 5.0 will be a little corny, but its your body man. Not a fan of body ink, but that mustang is pretty cool......

And you also wont be paying even close to sticker on a GTI new, people have been getting NEW R32's for under 30k.

I would buy CPO used if you are thinking of the GTI. I got my 2006 GTI in 2007. It was CPO, 14k miles, 18" wheels, DSG, Package 1(sunroof and sirius), rubber mats, trunk liner=$26,000 exactly NEW sticker, I got it for $19,750. You can get just as good of a deal now, 1 year old car, loaded, for many thousands off.......... And Auto Assets is smoking crack......You wont be at 260WHP with stg 2. You will have at most 240 WITH a FMIC. TQ however will be over 300. You can find used exhausts/DP's for under 1k, a chip will be about 650, Intakes do nothing for performance, you will need a Diverter Valve=300ish, and a PCV fix=100ish, and FMIC is about 1000. So you are right with the 3k, but a little different way of getting there. Hope this helps. Look at the R32, can be had for about 25-27k with under 5k miles on them.

Used 2008 R32's can be had for about 26-27K with about 5k miles on them. I would get the R32. Amazing car, great DD, in a comparison with new EVO and STI, 2/3 test drivers prefered the R32.

I love it when people think that the GTR has 480 hp as claimed by Nissan. It weighs almost 4000lbs, has AWD, with only 480 hp? right..........
