What you're feeling is not RWD bias, it's simply that the rear is now doing something. Haldex maxes out at 50/50 which I'm sure you know. Awesome that this mod is out there for those cars, pretty cool! I had a HPA competition haldex controller on my Golf R, made a big difference also.

IMO, SN95s are more fun to drive vs the s197 3V cars. This isn't to say they're better/faster, but they certainly are more fun to drive. My 97 Cobra is a flaming shitbox, but it's more fun to drive than my 06 3V. SN95 cars are lighter as well, smaller, more glass, etc. I can see myself getting another SN95 in excellent shape.

With cars getting more and more disconnected, sound insulation, rubber or dynamic bushings, automatic transmissions, turbochargers, awd, anything that is analog and remotely dynamic are skyrocketing in good condition.

I think this has more to do with average driver age vs capability. I can assure you my dads 17 duramax with travel trailer can be pulled with zero sweat at its maximum speed (governor). Hell of a trip, pretty cool.

Nobody knows. If anyone claims they know, they're wrong. Ford isnt letting any dealers open them up other than to confirm something warrants a motor replacement. Mine had bearing material in oil filter, others say oil pump gear, others point to a rubber oring in the pan, etc. But only Ford knows for sure. 2019 gets recast block and heads if that tells you anything. This. Still coolest car under 100k imo.
