  1. Sounds sweet. You'll be able to take a nap while that 40r spools up, lol, but when it hits hold on! I hope your luck in finding an evo turns for the better. Once you get it, you might just sell that 40r and buy some stuff for the Evo, haha As far as whats quick, I think that changes all the time. Atleast for me it has. A few years ago I though 13s was a quick street car. Last year I thought 12s was a quick street car. I guess 12s is still quick, but there are A LOT more 10-11 second street cars now it seems like.
  2. I gotcha. Yeh that WRX log is believable. lean for a second, then more towards the rich side. It looks actually like the ECU is looking for a target of close to 11.0 on that log for the most part. Had the line been 13.0 flat across, the motor would be toast. Thats all I meant. I shoulda read your post a little better I guess.
  3. Looks sweet..... Twin scroll is a bunch of marketing hype though. Back to back testing has shown little to no improvement to spool-up and a decrease in overall peak and average hp.
  4. E85 is some amazing stuff for forced induction cars by the way. I've seen some UNREAL boost and timing using it. Its is super knock resistant.
  5. I thought 11.5 was spot on for a FI car. I know of guys running 12.0 (Not on pump gas though) Maybe, MAYBE an e85 FI car with mad retarded timing I could see 13.0. But with 13.0 AFRs+ pump gas + any real amount of boost = Serious detonation = engine death

  8. Yes, there is. It's called volumetric efficiency. Anything can be made fast with the proper setup. All the displacement in the world wont do anything if its not used to its full potential. All things being equal ofcoarse a larger engine CAN make more power. I agree with ya on it coming down to how much you are willing to spend.

  14. Unfortunately I probably wont be able to afford the head and cams My kids want too many toys, lol. I think the HTA35r tubular kit alone should get me around 500 on DBs dyno with the head and cams I have (the specs are pretty close between the BR stuff and what I have). I'll be happy with that. Until then, if I can get kicked off a track with a little ole WR on pump, I'll be content. You need to put Dave's wheels and tires on and get to the track. If your heading back up to Buschurs I have a feeling I'll be reading a post on EvoM about a new 2.0 pump record I can't wait to see your car run in person. Hopefully it will be before the shootout. PM me when your gonna get to the track again, I never get to run around with any Evos.
  15. Yeh, Dave made fun of my wires everywhere. I def need to clean it up. Its got a White Rabbit 9 on it. Pretty gay turbo for the rest of the car. BR built 2.0, AMS head, GSC 280s, BR race fmic and piping, AEM..... As soon as I get the cash rounded up I'm headed back to Buschurs for an HTA35r. I am so damn impressed with yours, slorice, and spins cars. I need power like that. I only dynoed a lowly 353 on pump on DBs dyno. Stupid baby turbo. Only cool thing is 26psi @ 3500 rpm. I know you didnt do the 35r, if you dont mind me asking, why?

  18. Thanks. As far as the windshield banner, it was on the car when I got it. I dont like it much either, but it actually doesn't stand out much in person, and its under the tint so its gonna be a PIA to take out. I'll take it to a tint place and have it done sometime.

  21. I actually got a chance to clean the car Sunday so I snapped a few pics of it cleaned up. The engine bay still needs cleaned, I'll get to it one of these days.   22. Whats up man. Your car is sick as hell. Everytime I see a vid of the 3 buschur pump gas beasts I put a little more money in the HTA35r fund.
