Then you say your 60 ft would ONLY drop 1 second....... Being a REAL racer you know that will shave more than a second off your ET. So you REALLY have an 8 second car you didnt mention

So you get on a forum to talk about racing. You own a 9 second car and don't mention it, you just talk about your stock 95 Civic
  6. 36 in a 35......... No way that would hold up in court. Police are bound to the same laws as everyone when thier lights are not on. He also is required to "maintain an assured distance" I think it is, just like everyone else.
  7. You have reinstalled the drivers, the drivers are already up to date, noone else is having a problem in your room, all the networks that you connect to are doing it....... the fact that it worked right for 10 minutes last night makes me think its still a software issue, but it might be worth trying a new card. They are cheap anyways, heres the first cheap one I could find http://www.techforless.com/cgi-bin/tech4less/WG511NA?mv_pc=google_base
  8. That was great. " I can't find it now, it was on the right testicle"

  10. Is this Officer Chad's second attempt?
  11. More footage to be made.... You better sign up Jeff http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52365
  12. 1st: To the OP, sorry to go off topic. 2nd: I have seen first gen DSMs go 12s on less than $100 worth of mods. I am fully confident I could take $5000 and build a low 11 second 1st gen, no nitrous, and that includes buying the car. I will let you know for sure though. My buddy just got back from picking up a 1990 GSX Eclipse. So far he has spent $1800. That got him the car (which is solid, not rusted out), big 16g turbo, front mount intercooler, full exhaust, Apexi SAFC, new clutch and flywheel. We are going to keep track of what he spends on it. Speaking of which I need to get him to sign up on here. ( I will admit, it's not the prettiest car in the world but we will work on that too)
  13. I had a 98 z24. Wasn't a half bad car until the day I heard "ching ching ching KABOOM" stupid timing chain anyways
  14. It should show up regardless. You just wont be able to connect if its secure, but your card will still see it WTF unplug your router and plug it back in, see if it pops up then
  15. This is tough to explain like this..... network tech support via posting online ftl anyways, go to where you see all your networks right click on YOURs go to properties should be a security tab where you set up your network settings. Who set up the secured network for you?
  16. when you try to connect to your network what does it say is yours a secured connection, if so did you put in your network security key (password)
  17. :grin2: but man that thing ran great ....... until then I still think the DSM is the best budget performance car. As long as you enjoy working on cars that is.
  18. Were you connected to YOUR netork after the driver reinstall?
  19. I hate computers. Messing with the drivers made it work for a while, so now I don't believe its the card. I am calling it a night, but if it gets to the way it was PM me, I have a couple more things you could try.
  20. 4G63 > all A 95 TSI is the reason I own my Evo now.
  21. Well I can't blame it on Vista then. Hopefully it doesn't kick you off again and it was just a corrupt driver.
  22. Probably not the router, because the roommates arent having the problem. Could be the card going bad. If the uninstall/ reinstall or driver update doesnt fix the problem I would agree its the card.
