  1. ya let me strongly note if you are even remotely a tire kicker/low baller/someone who wants to spend 30 minutes going over a sub 5k car please do not waste my time or theirs. Just accept this is not the situation for you and move along.
  2. Title in their name. They are already in Naples 90% of the time and only came back to wrap up a few things at the house. I may ask them to try and jump it and see what happens but my other thought was at that point you may as well try to address the gas that's been in there for that long rather then pull all of that through the system.
  3. A family friend contacted me and asked if I could help them sell their extra car. Basically it's their sons car and he is in the Army so its been sitting in the garage in Dublin for 1.5 years. They just sold the house and are retiring to Naples and don't want to take it with them. My guess is with minimal cleaning it would make a great car and I'd take it myself if I could easily get 2 babies in an out of it. ** it ran when parked but obviously does not currently run. I'm sure it needs charged or a battery and fresh gas. They are not going to want to entertain someone tinkering with it in their gated community so it's an AS-IS Where IS please make sure you understand that before asking to see it. 2001 Volkswagen GTI VR6 5-sp 2dr hatchback exterior: Red Interior: Black leather roughly 110,000 miles keyless entry completely rust free They have had it over a decade and its always been serviced at that little Volkswagen shop on I think Dublin rd in UA The bad: no accidents except it hit a deer about 3 years ago, dented the hood and cracked the headlight, at that time they had $2400 in work done to fix that and anything else wrong with it. $2200 obo this is not an actual picture of it but basically identical same wheels as well. http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e391/Turbs3000/i757_zpsorjbouev.jpg

  5. The DMV comes out to our location once a XX to do a walk through for the license renewal. Not sure how often you have to renew though. Living in Grove City and watching the amount of cars that place tears through I always assumed there must be some decent deals for them to get through that much inventory but never knew. Someone on here works there for what that's worth.

    Towing

Sounds right, the discount is like 15%. I'll check with the company we use at work as they are a little cheaper I think but most companies will be around that 100 Mark. Need some of that Good Ole Boy towing Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk
  7. Park for sure. You are up north so you are around all the better parks in the city so make it happen. - Is Scott's house for rent? I'd go that route.

    Carpet?

Are you using a realtor? If so honestly, have them walk it and let them make the call on what you need to fix or replace.Ccertainly doesn't hurt to get the free estimate but it may not really be an issue.

  10. My goal would be to never let 1 person have all 3 items (car, title, check) When the check is delivered the car is also picked up. it's a certified check so while not 100% fool proof it's pretty good. Plus he can call the bank and confirm those funds are frozen in your account. This way he has the check and title, you have the car. The best way would be if you could pay the lien holder directly, give him a copy of the check and take the car but I doubt that would fly with him. Edit: with a clear title I'd see if the transporter will deliver the check for you when they take the car, he can keep the title til the check clears then mails the title.

  14. Do you know what kind you want? Used to work next to Lang Stone, they have tons of options and companies like Oakland nursery use their products. Ober fields is a good one. I've even bought them at Lowes for a fair price +10% off coupon. If you find something at Ohio Mulch I can give you a company code to save you a little bit. Also someone on here does this don't they? We also order alot of stuff in from a yard in Delaware but I forget the name. Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk

  17. It's probably a safe bet, the up side to using big box stores is they will always make it right. A few years ago my mom had floors installed by a Lowes contractor and he cut a few boards too short so they didn't meet the trim. They paid for the trim of her choosing plus quarter round of her choosing, painted or stained any color she wanted and installed throughout the house. So while it's not ideal when they screw up its nice sometimes to have a big name behind it rather then any Joe that can fade into the night.

  21. That blue and copper look awesome. I'm going to have to invent some stuff for you to do.
  22. That's wild when you know a single guy could do all 1300sq ft in a week. So to charge someone 4200 is crazy.
  23. This is probably one of the more important posts. You aren't gaining anything by picking up 15 points. Their really isn't much of a point in you opening or closing anything. If the mortgage company really wanted changed you could change it, they can force the agency's to post the change and then rerun your report. If you really don't carry any debt one your report hen your debt to incomes are going to be what they are and that's about it.
