I guess the question would be if they are really denying people with sound business models. The state/county/township can still shut down your for profit farm here, they can still pull your liquor license on a bar you pour half a mil into. It doesn't make it a realistic outcome. Also, that's what lawyers are for. When you are talking a multi-million dollar enterprise your corporate lawyers will be able to get sound intel on wither or not you will be approved. Just like all commercial structures it would be based on how the land is already zoned and city/townships involved. No, you would never get approved to build a car wash, build a car wash, then have them say no, you cannot operate said car wash. Just like you'd never be approved to grow pot, plant and grow pot, then not be allowed to sell/use said pot.

Which I guess personally doesn't seem like a down side. It's not like they get to toss out or stop whats being voted on or change it in any way other then to take it from 1 question to 2 questions. In the example of making weed legal the current option says: vote yes to allow marijuana to become legal in ohio, and that these 10 companies will be the only ones allowed to grow for distribution and distribute it. The 2 question option would be: 1. should marijuana be legal in ohio y/n 2. should these 10 companies be allowed to be the only ones profiting from it. y/n Now obviously this is a hastily done and simplistic example but that appears to be the gist of it.

What kind of feedback did they give you on the jump? Our company of 100 went up about that and ppo's went away but they also sited things like: -they (say) paid out in claims more then we paid in. -our prescription costs are 3x that of average customers -we were choosing more name brand vs generic options -high rate of lifestyle illnesses ie. High blood pressure, High Cholesterol, Type II Diabetes. Not that this is justification for an extremely broken system, it just speaks to the sickening costs associated with unhealthy lifestyles in said broken system. Also at over 20k per employee, at what point do you just start cutting them a check and asking them to search for it on their own.
