  1. That's pretty funny. I remember I used to get calls that a couple of my dogs and a goat I owned were seen a couple miles away at a lake every evening. The little pygmy mix goat had attached himself to one of my large female dogs and would follow her everywhere. (This was way out in the country, no paved roads for a few miles and it appeared they were using the woods to travel mostly.) I even had a neighbor tell me he saw the goat w/the dogs chasing a rabbit along the edge of my property one day when driving by. lol
  2. There are also 'hybrid' systems. AWD/4WD. (Given the definition we're using currently in this thread.) For example, my RAV is awd all the time (and not just a reactive system, like many), but it also has an actual 4wd lock for use offroad and hill/descent controls, etc.
  3. It's very simple. OP's original question was why there was a tip jar. I present this question. Was there money in it? Then there's your answer. And you can leave it at that. Or... Your question shouldn't be why you see a tip jar anywhere. It should be whether you feel like dropping a buck or some leftover change in there. Big difference. If you don't feel that tip jar is doing a good job at being a tip jar, then don't tip it. Grab your son's hand, walk on out to the parking lot and continue enjoying your day. Or, if you'd simply like some real problems to worry over, I can share some of mine with you.
  4. This seems to be basically what I'm hearing. The Vibe is barely taking a breath at 6k rpm.
  5. Don't burn them or eat off them. Otherwise, the wood last a long time due to those chemicals. Here's where I used to get mine! lol Probably not worth the trip for you... https://goo.gl/maps/yh5fLUG85UN2
  6. What products? Cuz if you think about it, adding it to your fuel won't help you.
  7. Not really much of a setup, but some Gran Turismo, a HD TV, and a Logitech Driving Force GT wheel. Still a hundred times better than a controller. No clutch, but at least I do have a shifter. The centerpiece that the wheel and foot controls are attached to is actually an old end table. It will slide in and out of that entertainment center, though I usually leave it in when I play. Crappy pic just now taken from my couch Alert: http://i.imgur.com/SjYvfC9.jpg?2
  8. I've heard and seen quite a bit about this issue. For those who have direct injection engines, what has been your experience? Turbos seem to fair even worse. Here's an example of what I'm referring to: Ignore the actual subject content, or don't, I'm only using this vid for the valve pics. (EDIT***Forgot you cannot embed with a specific start time. Begin the video @4:20, please or click the direct link.) Many manufacturers seem a bit quiet about this. Toyota got around this issue right off the bat about a decade ago by utilizing both port and direct injection with their original D-4S system. (Their system is also the only reason the FA20 in the FRS/BRZ makes its 100hp/L, as it's capable of more than just keeping the valves cleaner.) The only reason I can see other manu's not using something similar is for cost/complexity reasons.

    Go Fund Me

I wonder if I can get a Go Fund Me going for.. from.. whatever, racist people? Tell them I'm latino and if I had enuf money, I would leave the country and your jobs.
  10. Ignore my previous advice. Just jam some logs in there then and put a box fan by the vent.
  11. Holy shit, that's the trifecta. lol Someone has far too much time on their hands and not enuf dick. (Bear with me...) Seriously, if I caught myself doing something of that nature, I would immediately stop, open youporn, and get to work. If I have enough time to count words in an article I'm not writing or being graded on, I have time to knock one out. Ooh, just went over my 60 word limit... :masturboy:
  12. Quick aside: I made quite a bit of money in the 80's "borrowing" railroad ties and building heavy duty picnic tables among a few other things. To be fair, (and to ease my conscious lol), many of the ties would've been left to rot at this old railroad lot.
  13. I'll catch you, buddy! Did you wash your hands?
  14. Hilarious. We both posted flame sensor at the exact same time.
  15. Ahhh. I came here looking for a MKII Supra P-Type. But I'll watch the Porsche too, I guess.
  16. Sometimes the heat/flame sensor becomes dirty, if you have one. And in this case, cleaning it can help. I apologize to the hardcore HVAC folk who I've offended by possibly not using the proper HVAC language or by giving incorrect advice... which is possible cuz brain iz old and have trouble memorying.
  17. and away!!! Sorry, couldn't help myself.
  18. Eh, unless it's been edited since you posted, I didn't see it that way. He was simply being frank and to the point. Shouldn't need anything else on there.
  19. At the Detroit auto show, there was the slightest hint at the possibility, though nobody seemed to pick it up, that they could even drop something crazy into the new Chrysler Pacifica to replace the old Caravan RT. Hmm... Of course, I could only imagine it there in AWD form, but I still seriously doubt that was exactly what they meant since the Pacifica is FWD based.
  20. Gotta admit, sometimes those long trips get a little boring...
  21. Buy a Toyota? Both of our Toyotas haven't had a single issue past normal wear and tear. One has 150k+ and the other 120k+. Oh, and AWD was well under a 2k option. I'm a bit of a fan of the Flex myself. However.... Track proven: The turbo is slower than my v6 RAV in the 1/4. Not that you buy one giving two shits about that, though.
  22. What?! You guys didn't enjoy the Siamese Twins vid together? (Definitely the funniest two things I've seen on this page so far. )
