  1. These are the two answers I agree with, as well. Been through a similar problem before. The divorced wastegate dump you're running only makes it worse. A little back pressure until you can port the wastegate may help. During the winter, I used my silencer. It was just enough until I solved the problem properly.
  2. Had a piece of damn bone yesterday in a hotdog. Bout broke my tooth. I assume it was a small piece of bone.
  3. I've posted these before, but started forgetting to do it. This is more of technical auto mag as opposed to an entertainment mag like Motor Trend for those who haven't read it. http://digital.search-autoparts.com/nxtbooks/advanstar/ma0410/#/0
  4. Oh well, I agree GW has better games and DB has better food, etc. Looks like I need to go empty my card at GW before they close. Nevermind. Just read the article. Looks like it's closed already. However, they seem to think that the mall is going to conitnue to receive business, I guess. Screw it. Arcades stopped being what they were quite a few years ago. I miss the glory days of the arcade. “GameWorks closed its doors today. We understand this decision was part of a national process by Sega, the parent company. We know this was one of the best-performing locations. Easton is fortunate to have a waiting list of tenants who want to enter the center. In fact, we are adding ten new tenants this year and expanding a dozen more. We are currently evaluating tenants to replace GameWorks but have nothing to announce at this time.”
  5. 3 of us were just in Zanesville yesterday (Monday). Took a nice little drive. Here it is, actually. http://tinyurl.com/yj835ob No 555 this time, but that's coming again, soon. It's a great drive.
  6. After having to stare at an Aztek every f'n day across the street (a red one, no less... don't like red), I'd say I'd prefer for everyone on my street to have one. Plus, small, turbo, and possibly awd w/turbo (but probably not according to article) all make it better than the aztek, too. And a few others in its category.
  7. Nice job, guys. The customer happy?
  8. Welcome. Looks like some nice rides.
  9. Nice meeting you this past Saturday. WElcome to CR. +rep
  10. Just like any other city. However, alot of those casino jobs are pretty good. Definitely not a place to raise a family. However, if you don't have a gambling problem and children to raise, it was great!
  11. Awesome. Sounds like you had a good time. My gf is going in a couple weeks. I do miss living out there sometimes.
  12. Had a good time. Nice to have something so close to the house sometimes. We'll have to all meet up again soon.
  13. Your mamma. And see my reply to gergwheel at this comment from the first page. It's a 3 bedroom, though. I wouldn't know what you guys would do with the other 2. Eman, Norm and I may still stop by for a bit. Been a bit busy this morning so it may not be till about 130.
  14. The thermostat should be relatively new, but the thought has crossed my mind. Waterpump definitely shouldnt be an issue, but who knows. Tried this with a pressure tester. Didn't seem to be the problem. This thought is the one that/s stressed me the worse. However, the smoke that does come (and only during a high idle) is smelling and looking like burnt oil, not coolant. Also, my oil level hasn't risen on its own or gotten milky (from coolant mixing), though that's not always a guarantee.
  15. It was a good time. I actually feel pretty damn good this morning. My left elbow is a bit sore and I think I pulled my left titty muscle a bit. lol My lungs were the worse afterwards. I hadn't done a thing up till the day of boxing, so I figured, why stop smoking now? haha I know I'm not used to having to face someone who's actually a good 45lbs heavier than me. Now, I know how it feels when someone hits me. It's like punching an elephant. They wouldn't let us big boys hit to the head but it was still fun. Speaking of big boys, where the hell were all of you? Get the vids up, Alex, so we can get the teasing out of the way from we tripping and falling on my ass.
  16. I predict I go down in the first round due to exhaustion. The mats are for napping, too, right?
  17. Can I get some 1 minute rounds? On a side note, there's a small chance I may not be able to make it. Car problems and the gf has to work late tonight and is driving the Rav. Norm (Littleguy) is not on the current list and will not be participating for sure since he has to go out of town on Tue. Though, if I am able to attend, he'll probably come to watch since I may need a ride. All depends on when the gf gets home. It's still a good 8 out of 10 chance I'll make it.
  18. Is 'context' a hard concept to grasp for you?
  19. The biggest point to take from the article is that it’s been demonized and dismissed – until the FDA found a way to make it patentable, that is.
  20. Here's the deal, hopefully someone will have an idea... A short while back, I had a hose pop off coming from the heater switch valve on the firewall. I thought I had it burped completely after going thru the process and then driving it around with no problems or loss of coolant even after cooldown. The following time I drive it, it starts to get a little hot so I pull over. Seems it's burping itself again and is releasing coolant thru the overflow. I'm not far from the house and the needle has settled back to a normal spot. At high a higher idle, it smokes like burning oil, not coolant. It doesn't do this when it idles normally or while driving. At least not noticably at all. I decide maybe I hadn't burped it enough and try again a couple days later. (I use a giant cup/funnel just for burping a coolant system that you can fill and effectively makes it the hightest point in the system.) Anyway, after refilling the system, I begin running the car upto operating temps. Once it starts to get hot, it begins smoking profusely. Lower the idle back to normal, smoking lessens and then stops. Up the idle to aoround 1500rpms to finish burping, smokes again. I try to finish up the burping process without high idle and when there seems to be no more air, I take it for a test drive. (Car had been running for at least an hour already.) Anyway, I find no problems. Runs great normally and flatout. Next day, goto Krogers and on the way home, my temp gauge gets a little wacky but settles back to normal before I get home without overheating. However, I can hear what sounds like air in the system. No smoking though unless the car is parked and high idling. Get it home and I'm unable to burp because I cannot let it high idle and it won't get warm enough just idling normally. Do a pressure test on the coolant system with the car off and it seems to hold pressure. So, released the pressure, started the car and let it idle to recheck the coolant pressure. Good news is that when started, the pressure didn't jump up as if exhaust gasses were getting in, however, after waiting sometime, the pressure was only about 4lbs. Again, it was taking way too long to warmup enough so I gave up as Icouldn't justify it smoking like hell while in high idle. So, for those who've managed to read through all that, what are your ideas? I've got a couple of them, but I figured I'd put this out there and see what you guys think before I have the chance to get back out there again. Thanks all.
  21. Hey everyone. Last phone died and I was unable to retrieve the contacts from it. If I had your number before or you would like me to have it, now, please pm it to me. Thanks. Christian
