OK, I'm not spending hours to analyze all those graphs, but...What size were the actual particles that were passed? at some point the particles are so small that they don't affect the engine. Just like the oil filter, some say they take out a certain size particle, Moroso addresses that in thier literature by stating that once a particle gets so small it does negligable harm to your engine. I run Moroso racing filters because they are made to withstand the high pressures of my high pressure pump. I tried another brand and I lost 20psi cold and about 15psi hot. When I tore my engine apart at 30,000 miles, everything looked great in there. There used to be a commercial on TV, for what I don't remember. It had this line, that I follow in pretty much everything I do... "When you find something that works, That's what you use!"

Nitto only makes a 245/50-16. For pure stick I'd say MT et street radial..outlawed by some sanctioning bodies I understand. But, only in 255/50-16

They came out on mine. in fact one of the times they got a call about two guys in my complex and they sent the helicopter and spotlighted the guys while they were in my car. They had pried out my door lock and screwed up my console but had not gotten my stereo out yet when they were arrested. A couple months later someone came back and finished the job.

Where exactly do you live? I live in the area and there have been quite a few cars broken into. My car has been into 3 times and my garages twice.
-
Any DOT Dr's are going to be ok for dry weather street use. If you have any doubts, the Nittos do really goo even in the rain. I have about 15k on mine and it still shows all the grooves. I run them pretty much year round on my daily driver.
-
They actually come pre oiled now. When I bought my first one back in 1990 you had to oil them the first time yourself. I still have the same can of oil, on my second bottle of cleaner. Do they not pre oil the cai kits like the regular replacement filters?
-
Thanks Guys, I appreciate the help.

Like gearhead said, KN have tested them dirty and they flow better dirty than the best paper filters do brand new. Heed the oil warning, you can tell a difference the day you oil them from after a few hundred miles when the oil dries some. The oil makes them very restrictive!

Today I came accross a 75 Torino with a limited slip rearend in it. It has the removable front carrier like a 9" does but I am not sure if it is a 9". Somewhere recently I either read an article or saw on a show a way to tell the 9" from another ford rear of the same style but lower strength. It seems that they said that one of the two had a center housing that was flat on the bottom and the other was round on the bottom. Hopefully someone can help me preferably today, Monday, because if it truely is a 9" I want to go back tomorrow and buy it. Or if you don't know for sure a positive way to tell visually, the car is complete and original with a 351 engine and I would say any data plate is still there if someone can help that way. Thanks in advance!

Dumb question, but the old one didn't quit because of water damage did it?

Get the Prednisone. You go to OSU ER, they have to take you because they are Govt subsidized(?) you get the script, will probably cost less than $10. You pay OSU $10 a month until you are paid off. Or..you give it to a friend that has med ins and they get the prednisone for both of you. I'll do it for $20(plus gas) ...I get Pred for free because I make it lol
-
Me either, I'll get HD when you can buy a 40" for about $300 at WalMart lol. No sense rushing into buying new tecnology.

Megaman and TripleThreat could be siblings the way they're arguing lmao.

Cool. Also, I understand that my burner will burn double layer dvd's, but when I looked at Comp usa's web site they seem to be pretty expensive. Anyone know of someplace cheaper? Would the double layer dvd be better than the shrink programs?
-
I assume this program compresses it? Will it still play right in non pc dvd players?

That was my attempt at saying I need some knowledge on making safety copies of some of my DVD's. My sons sometimes want to use my dvd's and it seems they frequently get damaged. My pc has a dvd burner with lightscribe and I would like to just make a copy to let them screw up rather than my original. I bought some Memorex dvd+r dvd's that say they are 4.7 gb and 120min. When I check the properties of the movies, it seems that the video is almost the full capacity of the blank dvd's and then the audio puts it way over. Can someone help educate me and tell me if these will work or if I need to get a different type? Thanks in advance.

Where did you take the class and what did it cost? I have a big ass industrial arc welder and I totally suck at stick welding. I've been considering taking a course and/or selling said big ass welder and replacing my stolen mig that I loved so much.

Otherwise maybe you need a 90lb oriental babe to give you a massage.

A little trick I found out while in court with a friend...if a cop wants to scare the crap out of you and put you through the motions with no chance of you getting any fine or points is they will initial the ticket instead of sign the ticket. They are required to sign their full legal signature for the ticket to be upheld in court. The Judge told us, and him that. Also, if you have a friend that looks ALOT like you, take them along, the officer is required to make a positive ID of you, if he can't it get's tossed. btw..have the friend hold onto your summons and act scared and nervous...for effect.

Have any of you ever tried Georgesville square? Steak n Shake is open 24hrs and there is alot of space in the end of Lowes lot. I think only the Theater has security, so if you were just parked out by the service road and not acting a fool I would think you wouldn't be harassed. From the looks of last Sunday, White Castles was a little cozy.

Does anyone have some small tubing, like for tents?
Rice Eater replied to Boost-n-Juice's topic in Dumpster
I just bought a 4' piece of 1/2" pvc water pipe at Lowes for like $2. The longer ones I think come 10' and are like $5. In the plumbing section. -
He's right. I used to manage both a Wal-Mart service center and a Penske service and you have to be 18 for them to be able to bond you. I would suggest you go to Autozone or Advance and go in through the parts end of the business until you turn 18. Also Pep Boys in parts you can do, and you can get knowledge from ASE techs there. ps..don't believe anything the new tire or oil change techs tell you lol that's where they stick to least experienced techs.

It'a a 6 cyl tranny with the coarse spline or the 8 cyl with the fine(26) spline? If it's 26 spline let me know, I can get you alot more than that for any you have.

If you call paint places they can help you. while I'm not a member, there is a car club I've seen on the west side called flat out racing and all their cars are painted flat black. You can also buy flat black in a can from Autozone and Pepboys, it's made by Krylon I think Rust tough is the line $4-$5 a can. This is paint and not primer. It comes in semi-flat, flat, and ultra flat.
