I have had several request from others to do the meets at my office again. I was up in the air about doing it because I don't have a ride right now. So I am posting this to gauge interest in doing at least one meet this summer. We had a lot of fun last summer. Maybe Mt. Vernon's TT Vet will come out like last year. (he was worth the trip). So my question who is interested?

I watched until the lady was speaking in tongues. That was enough for me.... Speaking in tongues now, is not biblical at all. It was used after the founding of Christ church because we were split into different languages due to sin. This was a way to communicate with large numbers of people effectively. Also when people in the bible spoke in tongues it was one person speaking in tongues and the people heard him in his/her own language. Speaking in tongues today derived from the pentecostal movement early last century. If this act of speaking in tongues is correct why don't people in the grocery store do it. I my opinion it is used today as a "show off" and come from peer pressure. In those churches that teach that there is a heavy pressure to speak in tongues. If you are not speaking in tongues.. "you must not be right with God.

update: The car does have a manufactures buy back history due to a rear end problem. It has had the entire rear end replaced.

So was this an organized event? Or street racing? At some point you have to think that it is not a good idea to stand next to a street were people are drag racing. When I lived on the east side I would not go near the street when the guys were doing burn outs on Brice road.

First Night in Jail :funny:

I have a funny story about the Eastland mall area. I was about 12-13 years old and we were back behind the AMC8 that is across from the mall. Some one forgot to put the pad lock on the electrical disconnect for the movie theater. Of course kids with nothing to do and time on their hands will figure out something to do. So after several exchanges of I dare you and the triple dog dare. I walk up and shut off the power to the theater. Of course we took off because the Square D box made a big noise when I threw the switch.
