  1. Anyone have good experience with a sub $100 jump box ?

Just looking for something to keep in the garage for the just in case times when a battery might be dead and no other car around to jump start a dead battery

It’s been a while since I have needed one but looking to get a couple as holiday gifts

  2. The person would still need to have the vehicle insured for fire/thief.

But if I only had liability on my car and someone else’s accident caused my vehicle to be damaged while in storage I would imagine without the right home owners Insurnace you would be looking at a pretty ugly civil suit

  3. Well I did not want to sell right now but work load is shifting and I could use the funds for another upcoming investment so.....

Pics are on Fb and can send them directly. This was a one owner prior to my purchase. Older couple bought new and sold because they are getting up there and age and did not drive it much.

Ive put new brakes, calipers in the rear, tires, alignment, oil change in my ownership

I am 6 foot 1 for anyone wondering and for me its a blast to drive with great interior room to fit but the windshield hits my eyeline directly where I would see a traffic light so that is not comfortable at all but is the only downside I can say about driving this thing around

I have had 2 quotes both 1200-1500 to fix up all the rust if anyone is interested when purchasing I can happily pass along the contact info for that repair

    Price: $9,500 OBO

  4. Steve, how would you feel about doing sub-floor including 'leveling' in about a 300sqft space? It is in a finished off attic with steps in an old bedroom off of a hallway. The access is not amazing, it might be tough to get full sheets of plywood up there. But we could almost fit a queen size box spring up there (80"x60") so it's close.

We already ripped out the carpet, most of the hot-dumpster-fire sub-floor and for no good reason 2x4s on top of the floor/ceiling joist. It's a 1925 farm house so the joist are not plane by this point. I need to finish the floor gut and see how out of plane they are. I've no experience with shimming or any other method for bringing a sub-floor into plane. I do not expect it will be level, that's not a reasonable request in this house. I feel bringing someone in to do this portion is going to be my path of least resistance to quickly get these floors done. You would be dealing with a 'blank' slate set of floor joist that are not plane.

We can chat offline if that's best. Just trying to see if this is something you would be interested, especially in since it's just a 'small' part of this overall project. If Joe says you are good, that's all the input I need to trust you with any projects.

We would have gladly ate but happen to be friends with the owner of Memories in grove city so pre planned to stop by and eat with them after... Rain check :)

  6. I don't have any to sell, but if it helps, I just bought these on Amazon because I wanted a cheap pair for mowing. They work well and are very easy to use. Earbuds were hurting my ears to due necessary volume on the mower, these do a great job after about a months use.
