  1. I have heared plenty of good things about them and have even been referred to him by other vets.
  2. There are plenty of people that carry and sleep near guns that are law abiding citizens. I would and know plenty of people that sleep and pack heat. Better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it......
  3. You can check out a bunch of Black Friday ads at http://www.blackfriday.info/
  4. Not true. They do, it's just outrageous expensive. I know because I recently got a quote for over 7000 dollars a year from them.
  5. Yep, I agree, that was the funny episode of South Park that I have seen.
  6. I want it in on this too. I wanted to come to the last one but had to work that day. You know where to find me.
  7. This is what my VAIO has in it, "Phoenix FirstWare Recover Pro is an always-available and tamperproof recovery tool built into the core of the PC. As part of the Phoenix Core Managed Environment™ (cME), this ideal recovery solution stores user data, applications, and the operating system (OS) in the secured host protected area (HPA) of the hard drive. Users can easily recover systems to their original factory conditions or to a more recent state without factory-supplied restore CDs or the assistance of technical support teams. This significantly reduces your warranty costs."
  8. Most new laptops don't come with restore cd's. If his is like my Vaio then there is probably a third party system restore utility loaded onto a protected portion of the hard drive. Supposedly even with a virus or the computer not being able to boot properly in theory you can access that portion and have everything installed on the computer that was there when it left the factory.
  9. Me too... I guess I have a lot to learn
  10. I agree. If he tried to plead down and they didn't bite then you should keep fighting. When I got a speeding ticket a year and a half ago everyone kept telling me the same thing, just plead guilty and pay the fine. I got lucky and ultimately the case was dismissed so I say keep going for it bro, not much to lose at this point.
  11. You go to start and then go to the run box. In the run box type cmd and then hit ok. On the black window (ms-dos) you type in the ping command.
  12. Yep, it is a odd coincidence. As soon as I read the thread today and say the name Pedro I was waiting for someone to do that. It's all good though and understandable. If it was me in his position who knows what I would have thought. I think any one that has a bike understands where chrismindless is coming from. I park mine in a garage every night and I still think something might happen to it. That's the bad part about a motorcycle .
  13. Um... I think you guys have the wrong Pedro. It ain't me. Sorry I wish I had better news for you. I have a motorcycle too and I know I would be pretty pissed to walk out and find it gone. Good luck.
  14. Damn really? That's alot but I guess if they do it that way no one can say that it was not calibrated.
  15. I dealt with the same thing back in March of 2005. I got pulled over for 71 in a 55 MPH zone. The cop sat just inside of the 55 MPH zone and clocked me when I was still in the 65 MPH zone. I ended up going to court because I would have rather been caught going six miles over versus 16. I plead not guilty at my arraignment and never received notification of when my court date was. I found out at about 11:00 pm the night before I was scheduled to be in court. I tried to get a continuance but it was denied. They put out a warrant and I posted bond the next day. Two days later the judge just dismissed the , no reason given and as far as I am concerned none needed. I got lucky on this one.
  16. You should have been at work anyways... just kidding. Glad it wasn't worse
  17. It was for national ride to work day. Nationwide was sending out emails all last week about this. They were trying to get people to ride in to Nationwide from four parts of the city together as a group.
