  1. I just had my SAAB’s turbo rebuilt by a specialist in Connecticut (turbo is the stock Garret GT17). When he mailed it back to me, he left the exhaust housing and pressure housing bolts a bit loose so that I could “reclock” it myself to achieve the proper alignment. Well, after a testfit and tightening down the bolts, I discovered that the correct position requires the CHRA to be rotated another 10 degrees or so (one of my coolant lines won’t quite clear a flange). I can move the pressure housing fine, but my exhaust housing is too tight to rotate on the CHRA. How do I back the exhaust housing off so that I can rotate the two parts? I certainly don’t want to take a mallet to my freshly balanced and resealed turbo! This would have been so much easier if one of us had made alignment marks on the original housings. Ughhh
  2. If I had a kid, and there was a pit OR a rottweiler (or any "large" breed) chasing them, I would either be calling the owner or calling animal control too. You can't be trusting other people's animals and training abilities.
  3. I used B&G machining on Bethel Road for a similar issue. Nice guys. Charged me $40 to drill out 4 bolts that I had sheared and had the work done sameday.
  4. The OSU outdoor center should have em. I dont know if you need to be a student to rent though...
  5. No worries. Best of luck with the sale!!
  6. So sweet. Do you have any interest in a 2001 Saab 9-3 turbo? Has about 94k on it, is a manual, 4 doors, but boost is still a good time! Is up to date on maintenance and has been surprisingly reliable (for a SAAB).
  7. Similar issue: Started my car one day and rather than idle it decided to bounce off the rev limiter until I turned it off. New throttle body fixed the issue, but I don't know if your electronic systems would be quite like mine (saab).

    Limo Rental

Never rented one. At my cousins wedding they rented this really cool restored Bel-Air. Interesting departure from the played out limo norm and seemed even classier.
  9. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100815192430AA1z8So Cliffs: Guy gets caught with another girls stuff in his room. Of course he's not going to admit that he's been cheating..... so claims he's been crossdressing. Hilarity ensues.
  10. It's been a few years since I've stopped by. Can't specifically remember those, but I do remember some incredible sound.
  11. Cool to know. I think I'm still hunting vintage though - especially since I'm just searching for a starter table and won't be using it as my primary audio source. I really don't know much about turntables, but I have heard that the needle makes a big difference. Side note: Progressive Audio is incredibly baller. I could live in there.
  12. Cool. Let me know what type it is, and maybe we can work something out if Kevin can't find his.
  13. Yeah I've looked at some of the modern usb turntables. However, all of my audio friends say that the sound quality is nothing like the vintage ones. Considering that my system is oldschool (Cerwin Vega D-9's and an old Onkyo amp) I'm stickin with that theme.
  14. Sounds like exactly what I was looking for! Let me know if its still there && what you would like to get for it!
  15. As the title says, I'm trying to get into playing some vinyl (found some records in my parents basement) and I'm looking for a starter turntable. Anybody have an old one collecting dust in their basement? Looking for a technics, pioneer, dual or anything that was of decent quality "back in the day." Anybody got one? Trying to spend about $40, but could be flexible for the right table.
  16. Short North has a lot of nice options, some of which have been mentioned. Bodega has a ton of different brews and affordable food options too. I'm also a big fan of the elevator downtown - it was the first place that came to my mind and is usually my goto spot in the summer. Columbus Brew Co has a neat atmosphere too. Just depends on what neighborhood you want to be in after dinner. Bar 11 is really dope on a crowded night, but can have kind of a douchebag affiliation. Max and Ermas? I go there with my grandparents. Step up your game fellas!
  17. Towed a two axle landscape trailer around this summer with the automatic version of that truck. Well built, solid truck with plenty of power. The one I drove had a couple hundred thousand miles on it, was lifted, and was nowhere near that pretty. Back seat leaves alot to be desired. Also, single digit fuel economy is not fun for whoever pays the bills...
  18. Not sure about Optima Red Tops specifically, but Batteries Plus recommended that I charge my summer car's battery once a month for a 24hr period on 2 amps using a conventional 12v charger.
  19. Ah, gotta keep the weight distribution right
  20. http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/2079743623.html http://seat42f.com/images/stories/xzibit.jpg Is that a case of beer in the passengers side footwell?
  21. Yes, but it won't be CELLULAR service. You must be connected to wifi to make calls and receive texts. The phone features would not work on the road, at the grocery store, or at your friends house where you don't know the wireless network key. It would work at home, at the office, or anywhere with an open internet connection. Too bad though.... I'd love to disconnect from verizon. $80 a month just hurts
  22. If we crush the cartels, the price of pot will go up (for better or worse depending on who you are) On the other hand, if we legalize it, the mexican cartels will simply lose alot of their clients. I guess they would still exist because of yayo and whatever else, but I feel like they would be way weaker without that revenue.
  23. VERY cool. That's most similar to what I was considering.
