  1. Check out the Porsche Club of America if you haven't already. Great group of people who actually enjoy driving thier Porsche's frequently...some of them at least!
  2. Welcome! I really want to hear your car in person. Reason being we just got back from the 12 hours at Nelson and this year HART (Honda American Race Team) had their V6 Accord there again this year and it is the HOTTEST sounding V6 I've heard in a long time especially for a Honda. I was just talking to someone that I thought it may have a Borla exhaust, but I have no idea....would be neat to hear it for comparison!
  3. Buick, because we got a Maxima in with a leaking p/s rack at 60K miles and it is $1200 at the dealership.....Nissan parts are STUPID expensive especially for their "high end" car (Maxima) which IMO is just a 3.5S Altima with a different body..... Oh yeah, the CVT trans on the Altima 3.5 I drove is the best CVT car I've driven yet.
  4. Owner is looking to pay off debt, so I would say no. Thanks though Paul. Lots of Craigslist feedback, may not hang around for long.
  5. That's what I'm looking for, I've had somewhat similar feedback via PM. I really appreciate it guys. I'm going to talk to her on the price now that I am home from the 12 hour race and see what she would like to do. Feel free to leave your post, I wish people would give feedback like this on Craigslist instead of bashing a listed car.
  6. BALLS this means I won't be out and Max will be in the blue turbo 2.
  7. Crossle

    Tonight ?

Erica and I will be out, heading in early though due to Nelson Ledges 12 hour race tomorrow.
  8. Talk to me people, shoot me a PM if you are interested, and let me know what is holding you back. Mileage? Trying to figure out what I need to do as far as adjusting the price. Looking for a little feedback without tearing the thread up.

It was his wife's car, but she has since bought a Mercedes and decided they didn't need a 3rd car. They wish they could have kept it, but space is limited. ASKING $4,200 OBO http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z39/crossle_sean/NEW0004.jpg http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z39/crossle_sean/NEW0002.jpg http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z39/crossle_sean/NEW0001.jpg http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z39/crossle_sean/NEW0005.jpg
  10. Did someone buy this? I hope someone did, so I don't have to....
  11. This thread brings the lolz, bunch of whamby pamby's.
  12. So, I was browsing a thread on the whole hella flush scene and what not and ran across this. THERE IS VIDEO OF THE CAR IN MOTION, there are a couple pics of the car first in the video, bear with it for a sec. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfY_BKyWEfo
  13. He owns my old car. Met him the other day in person, pretty cool guy.
  14. The ones I have seen lately have been wearing just the uniform T-shirts. Wonder if it is their choice....
  15. Did you look in the rest of the corral? If not, I've got that diesel Mercedes. I also have an eagle summit AWD 5 speed that most likely needs a distributor and the down pipe has a leak. We put a used dizzy in, it ran, but cut out sometimes. It will idle/free rev all day. Under load though it the engine cuts sometimes, at this point $500 would take it. It has a 2.4L 4G64, yes ALMOST a 4G63. IIRC it has about 150K miles, we have records since about 55K miles here at the shop and yes the timing belt/w.p/rollers were done in these service records on schedule.
  16. Hell of a deal IMO for someone wanting a good track time car....good luck!
  17. I like them, they used to play at the St. Michael festival Saturday night every year. They stopped recently actually, but we were always there for that.
  18. A guy at our shop has that. It is hilarious, and it works really well. Works best if you have a good sound system.
  19. Just curious, with as much emphasis as we put on safety now a days when riding motorcycles and what not. Is there a particular reason why police officers on motorcycles wear T-shirts and what I would consider a bicycle helmet? I mean they technically do set an example, and I'm not really looking to get into a whole "it should be illegal to ride like...yadda yadda" Just wondering what the story/tradition is behind what they wear on motorcycles. I mean if it were my job, I would not want to wear that....especially considering how much riding they do. Discuss?
  20. Now don't get me wrong, if you play by the rules I am cool with it. I used to ride a lot a couple years ago. Yeah they can share the road, no it's not intelligent to ride way out there, but we do have to watch for them. If you follow the rules, I'm more than happy to slow down for a second if I have to, but if I have to pass you like 4 times because you keep lane riding and running traffic lights...I'm not so nice.
  21. You are also supposed to stop at stop signs, traffic lights, and not transition between the sidewalk and the street to take advantage of cross walks. You can also stop lane riding 2" from my mirror, or you can say hello to my door opening and me claiming that I didn't expect to see you there. not saying you do it, but bicyclists are the first to bitch about not having rights on the road and they are the first fuckers to take advantage of them.
  22. We will take it if you can get it to us...... The Northend Wrench Inc. We have a 250gal. container and a handful of 55 gal drums....winter is coming lol
  23. Bump.... Will take $3,000 firm for CR members....
  24. That was Chad.....Starkmaster (I think that's his name on here) I was behind you in the MR2. Nice crowd, clean cars, thanks to the organizers and sponsers. And thanks Paul for the raffle wins lol. Fun hanging out with you all as usual...
  25. Si, we haven't worked on an AWD one yet. Coulda bought my Forester for 4K with 146K miles that was just about rebuilt....they are out there. But, you HAVE TO know what to look for in a Scoob.
