  1. Well, you can ask what you want. You just have to hope there is someone stupid enough out there to pay for it thats all.
  2. Thanks for posting those up, they look great! Great weather too.

    hi!

Welcome to cr enjoy your stay!
  4. I'll probably make an appearance.
  5. Worthington police are loving that construction near/in the 270/315 interchange.
  6. I would research the KA-T idea, it's a little more realistic and is just as good as the SR20. I mean it may be "cool" to say you have an RBxx or a SR20, but why go through all that hassle when you could build what you have and have something that is just as good? RESEARCH!...look for stuff that is budget built. I really like 240sx's b/c they are excellent platforms, they suit almost all budgets in some way.
  7. My experience with taking scrap cars to the yard is that if your trailering it they take the total weight of your vehicle (car/trailer/rig) on the way in, they unload you then you re- weigh on the way out and the difference is what the payable weight is. The place we went to wrote the weight down on a piece of paper in and out then did the math. I know it doesn't answer all your questions, but that is the simple idea behind it. Weight is weight....shouldn't matter if it runs or not.
  8. GT40 was a kit, yes. He's from Tiffin Ohio. Thats all i know, i guess he and his buddy are into vintage race cars, he was with the guy that had the old yellow Alfa running CSP.
  9. Great day, i still need to get more supporting mods that are allowed in the class, the top 4 was the same order as last time, with me in third. Spun hard once and had no understeer issues today, almost too much oversteer. Never had the car drift like it did today in the dry.
  10. Sold! Mods....feel free to lock this one up!
  11. I swear if it rains again......it had better at least be standing water. I do believe that they run a similar course to the drivers school course for the points event Sunday. OVR has been known to run the governors cup course both ways, day 1 one way, day 2 reverse.
  12. PM's sent. I'm surprised w/ all you guys/girls. I've had 7 responses from craigslist and it's only been on there for 6 hours. It would turn a good profit for people with the "ins"
  13. THAT looks like fun! I've wanted to go and watch sometime, now i have an excuse i guess.
  14. Is it green? If it is thats a really nice shade of green. I give you props for doing your own work, but do some research on mods before you hang them. If you buy a 2.5" exhaust and they send you 3" then send that shit back and get what's better for your car. I fell victim to the motor swap dreams...i went as far as getting the motor before i changed my mind. Now I'm stuck trying to sell it. If you haven't done a motor swap/trans work you may want to find someone to "tag team" with to see what your getting into. Not hating....just passing on things i have learned from mistakes i have made.
  15. This is a 2001 Ford Explorer XLT it has 121,xxx miles on it. Tan leather, towing package, 3rd row seats, 4WD, clean body....has two "bad spots" that i noticed on a brief look over, one on the front edge of the hood (not rust) and a scatch on the rear bumper, otherwise a solid truck body/interior wise. Here is the deal, i bought it not running on a whim of it possibly being a simple fix. After some diagnostics on the truck without tearing anything apart, we came to the conclusion that the timing chain has possibly jumped. It has the 4.0L SOHC V6 (VIN E) I have no idea if it is interference or not. Having not heard the truck run i can't say one way or the other about anything else on it. Upon crawling under the truck, the pads have good life left, the CV boots aren't torn, suspension is solid, tires have some life left in them. Your welcome to PM me with a number and we can arrange for you to come and hear it crank and do any checking out you want. This is a great truck for someone with time/money to flip, blue book value is 7K-9K which is why i bought the truck. I have no interior shots as of yet, i am going to clean the truck before it sells. Here are two exterior pics, I am happy to take particular pictures if serious. Clear title, i just have to get it put in my name, i've only had the truck for a week. I don't need the "that price is too high" shit in here either, if you have the resources you can turn a good profit on it, i could still turn a good profit, i just don't have the time or facilities to do a major tear down and i'm in college. If your not interested, move on and keep your opinions to yourself. Thanks! http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z39/crossle_sean/DSC01172.jpg http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z39/crossle_sean/DSC01173.jpg
  16. Nice to hear another fiero gt being used as a daily. Welcome!
  17. 3rd in class.....hit a damn cone each run, would have been second for sure. 79th pax 80th ftd
  18. The intake and the fact i have 300zx wheels.....more rubber than stock so to speak. The Tokicos are legal in ES, plus now i can buy springs/short throw/exhaust. I want to get this event out of the way and see how i place, then decide if i am competitive with the way my car sits now.
  19. Damn paul you should start paulsracingbuddies.com or something lol. Welcome, colbalt SS's are pretty neat little cars. Enjoy your stay.
  20. It's a promotional indy car for Jim Beam, the car is essentially an indy car that has been extended to fit a passenger behind the driver. It has a detuned V8, running lights, turn signals, etc.. They were over at Weilands on Indianola twice last year and we stopped in and talked to the crew the one day. It's totally a promotional thing and it is very cool to see them on the street. You can always hear it coming thats for sure. Here is a picture i found, not here in Columbus, but i'm pretty sure this is what your talking about..... http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z39/crossle_sean/jim_beam.jpg
  21. Or Phil's AM car w/ the rotary and no exhaust lol. I'll be out Saturday....rain or shine.
