  1. Ahh, Jason, i thought that vette was someone on here. Not many cammed? new Z06's at the auto x events. It sounds amazing btw! Today was an absolute blast, and what was up w/ serious driver errors today? I'm thinkin it's the whole letting other people drive your car thing because you hardly see stuff like that happen very often. 61.3xx in my MR2 61.4xx in clbsinvaders RX7 64.7xx i think in dan's Z28 Dad ran like a 60.5 in my MR2 First time ever to drive a V8 american car in an autox. WOW, i don't think i want one for the street, but they are a blast to autox. I wish i had a couple more runs in that car, i seriously think i could have knocked another second off. I'll have to see what the experienced FS guys were running.
  2. Oh, it wasn't that bad...lol. Sounds to me like a good excuse to buy a trailer aka the mobile shelter, the personal tow truck, support garage etc....

    DSM problem

It's not good, but at least you have evidence that led you to your conclusion rather than pulling somthing out of your ass.....everyone makes a mistake every once and awhile. I see what you are saying tho.......
  4. Rich, you trailer the civic now???? Where have i been? I might be able to do rides, but i have a lot of friends coming for this one so the passenger seat will almost alwyas be full! And i am 2 drivering with the pops. I am just pumped this will be my first full autox in a car besides the formula car, so i am expecting to get pwned even though everyone says otherwise.
  5. Getting pumped for sunday, sounds like a good turnout from CR running as well as watching!
  6. It's almost winter time. Sam, i would keep the car and do some surgery this winter to change things up for next season. For some reason i think that is why this thread came up, end of this season basicly and questioning yourself if you want to drive the SAME car next season....I wouldn't, you have a great platform so just keep running with it. Or get a C6RS! (front cover of autoweek today)
  7. It's a fun event, i intend to drive other ppl's cars! *Update* 94% sure my dad will be co-driving w/ me in the 2.
  8. Ok, if you have to lift a car to put rims on it it's a no. I like lowered cars, not lifted. Dan, you just don't think outside of the American box lol.
  9. Like it says Holy shit just found this....40" rims? Can NTB get tires and mount them on these lol?
  10. Cool, it was my first time to race and it was planned like an hour after it started, so i didn't really expect what i should toss in the car. I sure know what for next time tho! lol P.S. I think i might have been able to beat anthony on his first run lol.

    Rolla's Place

Has she gone to the shop to speak w/ someone personally? If no then why not? It's not like this shop is across the world or anything.......
  12. I will add that big modifications are always more difficult and more expensive than originally planned. Often people tend to lose motivation once starting the project. Most sucessful people i have seen mod cars......day to day mechanics doing it themselves, or really rich people that can afford to have other people do the work. On topic.....Depending on what YOU choose to do. If you turbo - first invest in another daily driver, your friends/family will appreciate it. If you swap - Keep your current as a daily driver and find another accord that someone has started a swap, or has blown up, or has high miles on the motor you are taking out.
  13. I personally like lowes, they stock some really high quality tapes there, duct tape being their best seller. They just can't keep that stuff on the shelf! Srsly tho....pix

  15. A friend of mine cut out the bottom of a laundry basket and went as a burrito bowl last year....got a free burrito bowl lol.
  16. He needs a new engine mount. Some people's time amazes me.....
  17. Here is a news story that said nudity is attempting to be banned on the summit of mount everest lol. I heard this on the radio the other day and had to lol. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20996563/
  18. Yeah i remember, i have stood next to you so many times at events and stuff lol. Yeah i got it fixed ok, thanks for the help. If your serious ill pick you up another towel lol, i have no problem repaying favors believe me! Lmk
  19. I bet since it doesn't weigh anything. Power to weight ftw! Thats always the issue with used hondas, the mileage is always high and if it is a low mileage car they want a small fortune for it.
  20. Gotta love factory support. They even have a school to learn you how to drive it well, as well as a team of mechanics on hand while you are racing at your desired track. Essentially a F1 car w/ ferrari factory hospitality. That is why ferrari's always appealed to me. Ferrari really takes care of their customers.
  21. I guess do you want a smaller car, same or smaller size? Lexus IS300 Mazda Protege Toyota Celica http://columbus.craigslist.org/car/453659516.html Nissan Sentra SE-R http://columbus.craigslist.org/car/462446913.html Mazda Millenia Nissan Maxima/Altima Acura 3.2 TL Hyundai Sonata - can be found in a manual Hell, stick w/ VW if thats treated you well. Stay away from Audi if your looking for long term reliability, A4's are nice, but it's hard to find a nice one.
  22. Must haves like yours make my head hurt.....that covers soooo many cars.
  23. Quit talking shit lol! Hope to see it autoX?
