There is a company out there that inserts a "bladder" of some sort inside the tank to hold the fuel. Then the body of the tank just becomes a protector. I can't tell you the name of the company or how much it costs, but your best bet would be replacement with used.

You should have them measured first. I don't know if O'Reilley's or other auto parts stores do this or not as I don't have experience with them. Most shops should be able to mic them and tell you one way or another. Now a days on cars and light trucks especially they make the rotors so thin to begin with to save you money, but it also means that they usually only last about 1 set of pads. Yes, you can go multiple sets of pad sets "just fine" but you are prone to warping the rotors more easily under high load the thinner they get. Especially for your autoX application. I think you will find you will need to get new rotors.

The Ford's I worry about at higher mileage (flamesuit on) oil pumps aren't cheap to replace, front suspension isn't cheap to replace. We service a E350 '05 with 351K on it.......but he recently had to have the above 2 things replaced at great cost.

What sort of driving activities are you into?

I use an OTC Genysis at the house. We have probably at least 10 different ones at the shop. There is not one that does a "perfect" job at everything, but there are some that are much better than others. What sort of application are you looking to use it for? The best one for your VW would be the VAGCOM being the factory tool. It is laptop based, you need to buy the OBDII cable that plugs into the USB port on your laptop. On your Asian and American cars I would use the Genysis, or our Snap-on Verdict, neither of which are in-expensive for day to day personal use.

Como mower at the corner of como and indianola in clintonville may do the trick, but they are notoriously more expensive than parts online.

Scott will have better input on other common issues with trailblazer's. I think it could still be a wheel bearing, but just not bad enough yet to detect via the methods you have available to you to diagnose it. What manufacturer tires do you have on the truck and what sort of tread is left? It is totally possible that you could be experiencing tire noise.

Will it make the noise with the car running in the driveway revving the motor up and down? Or does the car have to be traveling at speed?
