  1. I mean it's not uncommon to have just about any part bad out of the box now a days haha. I roll my eyes anymore. We actually had a car come in that the customer had put the starter on and found out that the starter motor windings were reversed and was turning the motor the wrong direction.
  2. Need to verify if you are getting power on the small blade connector on the starter with the key in crank. If yes, it's a junk starter. There is a possibility that there is a problem with the main power wire from the battery to the starter as well. Would require a voltage drop test, but not un common for starters to be bad even out of the box.
  3. I may swing out to the pre-party at Carlyle, because it's been a minute since I've been around those cars and I've never been to Carlyle's shop.
  4. It will still be there tomorrow if you show up tonight
  5. If Lucore can't do it for any reason, give me a ring at the shop. We are scheduled out almost 3 weeks, but I may be able to help get it sooner if you are in a pinch. Can do your specs or we can build specs no problem.
  6. We are putting a clutch in that car today ironically.

Yup, we bought tickets last night for the watch party.
  8. I like the idea, it's cheaper for me at the moment to have access to space like that then move to a new place in this current housing market within city limits........don't have room to add a garage at the current house. It's a reasonable option to me. Plus it's a condo, so it's an asset. We are looking outside 270 and it's tough to find something in our price range ($300K max) that already has a substantial extra building that is ready to just start slamming cars and lifts into......
  9. I thought that the time frame expired now???? For the warranty replacement? If that is the case, we have had great experiences with Farris Frame Restoration in Reynoldburg.
  10. Message Dad on this one if you want to have someone else make them, he had someone make a high pressure PS line for that Bluebird motorhome he had for like 2 weeks. It was super easy and reasonably priced if I recall.
  11. Still converting to R134, based on the operating pressures of HFO you are talking likely an entire system replacement. I don't think we are there yet.
  12. I'm not mad, they have their own slew of silly issues, but much more affordable to maintain than the German stuff. If driving that infrequently keep it on a trickle charger.
  13. Morgan is a notary Clay
  14. I heard V6 Mustang's are all the rage around here.
  15. That's how it was when we first installed the long tubes and X-pipe and we all looked at each other when it started because it was quiet AF. So we did the adult thing and put muffler deletes on it.
  16. Let's talk about issues - Oil leaks - turbos, valve covers, cam seals - all of which are labor intensive Timing belts due to poorly sourced parts the first replacement Plastic Impeller water pumps (should be changed to metal at replacement) Cam chain tensioners - also a oil leak spot at back of heads Ball joints in the front suspension (8 total) Tie rods seizing that then require replacement due to rubber bushings Front Axle boots tear AIR SUSPENSION - need I say more? It's garbage The cooling system as a whole sucks, heater cores clog, auxiliary water pumps fail, the thermostat is 5.6 hours because it's BEHIND THE WATERPUMP. Secondary air injection system failure - the pump fails, or fills with water and fails, the old plastic hoses are brittle and break trying to remove them for other service Flex Pipes fail at high rates and are incredibly expensive Alarm system issues with randomly going off and difficult at times to diagnose
  17. Blue point air hammer - $100 Snap-On 3/8 Gun (red) - $200 Both are used, and in good working condition. Buy as pair for $250 Prices above are CR "bottom dollar" prices. Link below for pictures. https://columbus.craigslist.org/tls/d/columbus-blue-point-snap-on-air-tools-2/6855042804.html
  18. https://columbus.craigslist.org/wto/d/columbus-17-forgeline-wheels/6855030437.html This is my ad. I figured I would post here also just because. CR Price - $550 17" 5X114.3 Higher offset, no stampings on the back of the wheel 17X10 - 2 total, one of which is damaged beyond repair 17X12 - 3 total These were on a yellow MK4 Supra that was part of the "Speedvision Cup" there were 2 cars, running 2 separate classes. If you are local, I am willing to assist with "test fitting" to help facilitate sale if needed.
  19. Oh no lol. You could write a book on what’s wrong with these cars.
  20. If it's going to be raining, I won't be there anyway
