i think if you have been on welfare for more than 5 years you should, if you are just going through a temporary rough spell then no, but if you don't plan on ever getting a decent job then yes you should.

5 years? No, you should only be allowed to have 1 kid while on welfare and it has to be within the 1st year. After 2 years, mandatory abortion and then after 3 years sterilization.

Go to a bar on Friday night. Find the bad ass in the bar. Ask people why they hate him and most responses will be "he walks around like he owns the place" or "He thinks he is such a bad ass". Get our noses out of international affairs beyond trade. Lets do what's best for Americans for once. Not Israel, not the military industrial complex, not for destabilizing "democratic" nation-building. Democracy in lands full of insane, religiously-ignorant, pieces of excrement only creates a government full of elected officials that are insane, and religiously-ignorant. Hamas anyone? Democracy can only work for the people(more importantly, the person) confined by a bill of rights/constitution that limits government powers, and recognizes individual rights. Brings back memories of sitting down with my grand parents, great grand parents, uncles and great uncles talking about their stories. I come from a military family, unfortunately i was not allowed to join due to my mothers wishes. She grew up out of the US most of her adolescent life. Living on base after base, country after country. She didn't want that life for me.

My great uncle has a lot of crazy stories, he ran recon in Vietnam. The stories he is able to tell are just insane. I have one great uncle who i have never met, came back from vietnam and disappeared. No one has heard from him since.

I agree, but we need moar war, so the defense types can keep their contracts, and political types keep their cash flow going.

I understand that, war is big money.

But we need to choose the wars we engage in wisely. Going to war that could potentially bring enemy troops to US soil is not a smart decision.

No longer are we the only nation with a strong navy/ airforce. Going to war with any country that can mobilize their military is not a smart decision right now. Bringing war to US soil will certainly destroy our economy. Kind of going backwards from what war generally does. We send over our military, American citizens go to war and are comfortable here in the US away from war.
