I dont know about you but I like my cars how I like my women... 1 person taking a ride is fine, but knowing many people were up in it would make me feel dirty everytime I took it for a spin. I would go back with the paperwork and ask for a warranty for the misinformation. They would be more likely to help you out with a warranty than taking the car back. Hopefully the salesperson was given bad info and didnt mislead you on purpose.

The Droid name is licenced by Verizon Wireless. The Droid 2 could actually end up being an HTC phone if Verizon wanted it to be. There are talks of a Nexus with a keyboard being the droid 2(this would complete me), or a phone motorola already has made. The one Motorola is testing now is operating on 2.1, has similar specs to the Nexus, is touch only, and is due to be released world wide. The one that hits the states will likely be labelled the as a "Droid". Greg, if you are worried about buying a phone just to have a newer one released dont worry. The droid is selling too well to jump ship. The nexus will probably come out next (would take the top spot on the touch only android phones), then a few others are set to be released later on. If I were a betting man I would say March for the Nexus, and late summer for the next Droid.

Straight talk is a Verizon Wireless rebiller. The phones just suck at properly using the signal causing data issues.

Question... Do you think Apple is asking for too much money, or ATT's public network issues are causing Apple to break the deal? Or do you think Apple is just being greedy and wants to pull in as much money as they can? The last extension of the contract was a bad idea in my book. If they would have offered the iphone to more carriers before the droid came out they would have cleaned up. Now people have options.

They do require an extra 10 minutes on the treadmill but its worth it.

Verizon started updating their network before the droid came out to handle more capacity. A lot of iphone users have already transferred and are using their phones without issue. Att has the same plans, until recently had more customers, and posted a higher profit... yet Verizon spent more on their network than them. This shows me that Att is all about putting money in their pockets at the expense of their customers spotty data service. And for the record... The nexus is hands down the best phone on the market today.
